Miss World 2021 will be held at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico Jose Miguel Agrelot in San Juan

At a packed press conference today, it was announced that due to exceptional demand for tickets, the Miss World Final had been moved to Coliseo de Puerto Rico Jose Miguel Agrelot the largest indoor venue in the country! Tickets for the 16th December final are expected to go on sale from September 17th. The Coliseum, in San Juan is the biggest indoor arena in Puerto Rico and is dedicated to entertainment. Opened in 2004, ‘Choliseo’ as it is nicknamed, can accommodate up to 18,500 spectators. It has been voted as one of the top 10 arena venues in the world. At the Press Conference, Julia Morley Chairman and CEO of Miss World was joined by reigning Miss World – Toni-Ann Singh, Stephanie Del Valle - Miss World 2016 and Vanessa Ponce De Leon - Miss World 2018.  Julia spoke of her deep pride in Puerto Rico being the host of the 70th Final. Miss World Kenya 2021 is Sharon Obara

Sharon Obara bested 15 other contestants to be crowned Miss World Kenya 2021 in a national competition held last Saturday, August 28 at the Trademark Hotel in Nairobi. The 19-year-old beauty succeeds Miss World Kenya 2019 Maria Nyamai Wavinya and will represent her East African country at the 70th Miss World pageant in San Juan, Puerto Rico this December. Chantou Kwamboka and Mwihaki Njogu were announced as the first and second runners-up, respectively. "I'm humbled to have been the one bestowed the honor to represent Kenya at Miss World. I am still in awe of the support and love that is still coming my way. The journey has just but began," Sharon said. "I vow to do my best, lead with my heart, continue the Miss World legacy, and most importantly touch twice as many lives through my Beauty with a Purpose project," she added. Miss England 2021 is Rehema Muthamia

Miss Bedforshire, Rehema Muthamia was crowned Miss England 2021 in a glittering competition held at the Heart of England Conference and Event Centre in Coventry last Friday, August 27. The 25-year-old genetics graduate of the University of Sussex grew up in Kenya and speaks four languages. She is advocating against domestic abuse of women in her Beauty with a Purpose project. Miss Lancashire, Jessica Gagen and Miss Worcester, Erin Smith were the first and second runners-up, respectively. The new Miss England succeeds Bhasha Mukherjee, an NHS doctor who won the national title in 2019. Miss Brasil Mundo 2021 is Caroline Teixeira of Distrito Federal

Miss Distrito Federal, Caroline Teixeira, was crowned Miss Brasil Mundo 2021 (Miss World Brazil) in a national competition held in Brasilia on Thursday, August 19. The 23-year-old beauty, who holds a degree in law, succeeds Miss Mundo Brasil 2019 Elís Miele. She will represent her country at the 70th Miss World (Miss World 2021) pageant to be held in San Juan, Puerto Rico this December. Miss Rio Grande do Sul, Alina Furtado, and Miss Espirito Santo, Gabriela Botelho, were in second and third places, respectively. The representatives of Piauí, Larissa Barros, Mato Grosso do Sul, Dandara Queiroz, and Pernambuco, Guilhermina Montarroyos, completed the Top 6 finalits. Miss Antioquia, Andrea Aguilera, was crowned Miss Mundo Colombia 2021 in a national competition held at Hall 74 on Saturday, August 14 in Bogota. The 23-year-old social communicator and early childhood care technician holds a diploma in neuro-linguistic programming. Her Beauty with a Purpose project “Nutrir Neuronas” tackles child malnutrition and she works with “Othello Nutrition” to give specialized nutritional food to hundreds of children with chronic malnutrition. Miss Patagonia, Carol Drpic, was crowned Miss Mundo Chile 2021 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Santiago last June 26. The 21-year-old kinesiology student and classical ballet dancer will represent Chile at the Miss World 2021 pageant to be held in San Juan, Puerto Rico this December. Tiisetso Seliane bested 10 other finalists to be crowned Miss Lesotho 2021 at the Manthabiseng Convention Centre in Maseru last May 29. The 24-year-old aspiring teacher from Hlotse is currently an education student at the National University of Lesotho (NUL). Poelano Mothisi was named the first princess while Rapelang Ntsane became the second princess. The new Miss Lesotho will represent her southern African country at the 70th Miss World (Miss World 2021) pageant later this year in San Juan, Puerto Rico. "I have always known that life will lead me to a career that will put me in front of people. I enjoy the freedom to be myself, loving, caring, crazy and loud," she said. The 3rd annual Miss World Cayman Islands pageant took place on Saturday, May 29 at the Harquail Theatre, George Town in Grand Cayman. Rashana Hydes bested four other beauties to be crowned Miss World Cayman Islands 2021. She succeeded Miss World Cayman Islands 2019 Jaci Patrick. The 24-year-old mental health advocate from West Bay holds a bachelor's degree in hospitality management. She can be described as ambitious, fair-minded, and artistic, who is passionate about various forms of creative expression. Sydonie Barrett and Alyssa West were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Krista Ebanks and Jesika Calderin-Ebanks completed the Top 5 finalists. Reigning Miss World Toni-Ann Singh visits Puerto Rico

Miss World 2019 Toni-Ann Singh has on the weekend arrived in Puerto Rico together with Miss World Organization's Julia Morley ahead of the Miss World 2021 competition on the island later this year. They were welcomed by former Miss World from Puerto Rico and Miss World 2021 organizer, Stephanie del Valle. It was Toni-Ann's first official trip since the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions happened. The Jamaican beauty said she was very excited about her visit as Puerto Rico is so much like her own country. During their official visit, they will attend meetings with local government officials and look at various locations to be selected for the 70th edition of the international pageant. Miss World 2021 is scheduled to be held on December 16 at the Coca-Cola Music Hall in San Juan.
