This year's Miss West Coast state final took place on Tuesday, April 2 at The Camfield in Burswood, Perth. An ecologist of Tongan and Scottish descent from Sydney, Helen Latukefu, was crowned Miss Earth Australia 2023 in a national competition held on Saturday, September 9 at the Tang Media Performing Arts Centre in Smithfield. The Top 5 finalists and elemental queens were Deborah Madriaga (Miss Earth Air), Kajol Chand (Miss Earth Water), Luna Ojacastro (Miss Earth Fire), and Patricia Sheeran (Miss Earth Charity). The 21-year-old model and sports coach from Melbourne, currently pursuing her degree in business marketing at RMIT University, will now prepare to represent Australia at Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador this November.
