Miss Universo Brasil 2022 is Mia Mamede of Espírito Santo

Mia Mamede, the representative of Espírito Santo, bested four other finalists to be crowned Miss Universo Brasil 2022 (Miss Universe Brazil 2022) on Tuesday, July 19 in São Paulo. The 26-year-old graduate in audiovisual journalism and socio-economics from the University of New York hails from the city of Vitória and is multilingual. She hosts a program about travel and entertainment broadcast on YouTube. Rebeca Portilho of Amazonas and Isa Murta of Minas Gerias were respectively in second and third places while the representatives of Ceará, Luana Lobo, and Rio Grande do Sul, Alina Furtado, were the rest of the five finalists. The newly crowned Miss Universe Brazil succeeded last year's titleholder Teresa Santos and will now prepare to represent her country at Miss Universe 2022. "Everything still feels like a dream. Mister Brasil CNB 2022 is Guilherme Werner Wamzer of Caminhos do Contestado

Mister Caminhos do Contestado, Guilherme Werner Wamzer, bested 40 other participants to win Mister Brasil CNB 2022 at Hotel Sibara Flat & Convenções (Sibara Hotel Convention Center) in Santa Catarina on Saturday, May 7. The 27-year-old dentistry degree holder from Mafra is an actor and model. He is passionate about animals and participates as a volunteer in actions and projects that promote their protection. Mister Rondônia, Naraiel Ferrari, Guanabara, Lucas Laet, Santa Catarina, Alisson de Liz, Rio de Janeiro, Felipe Lisita, and Rio Grande do Norte, David Miranda completed the Top 6 finalists. The new Mister Brasil CNB will represent Brazil at the Mister Supranational 2022 competition in the city of Nowy Sącz in Małopolska, Poland this July. Miss Supranational Brasil 2022 is Giovanna Reis of Paraná

Miss Supranational Paraná, Giovanna Reis, was crowned Miss Supranational Brasil 2022 in a national competition held at Hotel Sibara Flat & Convenções (Sibara Hotel Convention Center) in Santa Catarina on Friday, May 6. The 21-year-old businesswoman, model and interior design student from Cascavel bested 26 other beauties to win her title. She succeeds last year's titleholder Deise Benício. Rio Grande Do Sul's Larissa Grabin and Tocantins' Anna Perillo were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Guanabara's Marcele Cataldo, Rio Grand Do Norte's Adriana Yanca, and Distrito Federal's Carol Tibery completed the Top 6 finalists. Miss Ceará, Teresa Santos, was crowned Miss Universo Brasil 2021 (Miss Universe Brazil) in a gleaming national competition held in Rio de Janeiro and aired on Tuesday night, November 9. The 26-year-old psychology student, model, and entrepreneur edged out 26 other beauties to win her title. She will represent Brazil at the 70th Miss Universe pageant to be held in Eilat, Israel this December. Miss Piauí, Gabriela Lacerda, and Miss Sergipe, Carol Valença were the first and second runners-up, respectively. The new Miss Universe Brazil succeeds Julia Gama, who placed first runner-up during the 69th Miss Universe competition in Florida, USA last May. Miss Distrito Federal, Caroline Teixeira, was crowned Miss Brasil Mundo 2021 (Miss World Brazil) in a national competition held in Brasilia on Thursday, August 19. The 23-year-old beauty, who holds a degree in law, succeeds Miss Mundo Brasil 2019 Elís Miele. She will represent her country at the 70th Miss World (Miss World 2021) pageant to be held in San Juan, Puerto Rico this December. Miss Rio Grande do Sul, Alina Furtado, and Miss Espirito Santo, Gabriela Botelho, were in second and third places, respectively. The representatives of Piauí, Larissa Barros, Mato Grosso do Sul, Dandara Queiroz, and Pernambuco, Guilhermina Montarroyos, completed the Top 6 finalits. A 26-year-old journalist from Juiz de Fora (Minas Gerais), Lorena Rodrigues, has been officially crowned as Miss Grand Brazil 2021. Lorena succeeds last year's Miss Grand Brazil and Miss Grand International 2020 fourth runner-up, Lala Guedes. She will represent her country at the Miss Grand International 2021 pageant. The crowning ceremony took place last Friday, June 25 in the stunning city of Ouro Preto, one of the most important political centers of Brazil’s colonial and imperial times.
