Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2024: Meet the contestants

The official contestants vying for Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2024 were finally revealed on Thursday, April 18 at the mayor's office in San Juan. This year's competition will have 28 of the island's most beautiful women selected to compete for the coveted national title. One of them will be the successor of Karla Guilfú Acevedo, reigning Miss Universe Puerto Rico and Miss Universe 2023 Top 5 finalists. "Enjoy every stage of the process because all the knowledge you acquire will be with you forever," Karla's words of support for the contestants. The preliminary competition for Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2024 will be held on June 23 while the final is on June 27 at Centro de Bellas Artes Luis A. Ferré. The next queen will represent Puerto Rico at the 73rd Miss Universe (Miss Universe 2024) in Mexico this November. Miss Universe Netherlands 2024: Meet the Top 16 finalists

From 60 beauties who participated during the casting day, only 16 will now move on as finalists for Miss Universe Netherlands 2024. The selection event and official announcement of the Top 16 finalists took place on Saturday, April 13 at Studio 21 in Hilversum. Previously held by Monica van Ee of the Miss Nederland organization, the license for Miss Universe Netherlands has been taken over this year by Milou Verhoeks of the Miss Beauty of the Netherlands. Last year's winner under Miss Nederland was Rikkie Valerie Kollé , the first-ever transgender woman to represent the Netherlands at the Miss Universe pageant. The next Miss Universe Netherlands, to be crowned in July, will travel to Mexico for the 73rd Miss Universe (Miss Universe 2024) competition later this year. The beautiful contestants vying for Miss Universe Bahamas 2024 were officially revealed on Friday, April 12 online. Ten women have been selected for the opportunity to compete for the national title currently held by last year's winner Melissa Ingraham . Melissa participated in the Miss Universe 2023 pageant in San Salvador, El Salvador last November. Binibining Pilipinas 2024 Top 40 officially announced

The Top 40 vying for Binibining Pilipinas 2024 (Miss Philippines) have been officially revealed following the final screening on Friday, April 5 at New Frontier Theater in Araneta City, Cubao. This year's Binibining Pilipinas will be the 60th edition of the annual competition. The grand coronation night is expected to be held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum this June. The successors of reigning queens Angelica Lopez and Anna Valencia Lakrini will represent the Philippines at Miss International 2025 in Japan and The Miss Globe 2024 in Albania. Miss America 2024 will be the 96th edition of the Miss America pageant — the nation's leading provider of scholarships for young women. The 51 state representatives have already been crowned and they will compete for the national title on January 14 at the Walt Disney Theater (Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts) in Orlando, Florida. Apart from raising the age limits to between 18 and 28, the 2024 competition under the new CEO Robin Ross-Fleming will also see other changes. For the first time since scrapping the swimsuit competition in 2018, there will be a segment that focuses on health and fitness. The CEO clarified, that the contestants will not be judged based on their physical appearance. Five returning countries from the region this year consist of Bangladesh, Cambodia, Kazakhstan, Myanmar, and the Northern Marianas. Asia and Oceania have held the title of Miss Earth six times since the first edition of the pageant in 2001. The Philippines leads with four wins, two of which were back-to-back in 2014 and 2015. Twenty-seven of the 86 contestants currently vying for Miss Earth 2023 in Vietnam came from the region of Europe. Returning countries this year include Armenia, Denmark, Germany and Ukraine. After winning the inaugural Miss Earth competition in 2001 with Denmark's Catharina Svensson, the region managed to achieve two more victories — Bosnia and Herzegovina's Dzejla Glavovic in 2002 (dethroned) and Czech Republic's Tereza Fajksova in 2012. Europe's last placement in the Top 4 was in 2020 with Michala Rubinstein of Denmark who bagged the Miss Earth - Fire title. A total of 85 beauties from around the world will compete in the highly anticipated 72nd Miss Universe pageant in El Salvador this November. This year's competition will mark the debut of Pakistan and the returns of 10 countries consisting of Denmark, Egypt, Guyana, Hungary, Ireland, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Mongolia, Norway, and Zimbabwe. Tonight, a total of 30 contestants will battle it out to win Miss Earth Vietnam 2023 at the White Palace Vo Van Kiet in Ho Chi Minh City. The show will broadcast live from 7 p.m. local time on the entertainment super app VieON and the QUICKOM platform. Live streaming is also available on the pageant's official Facebook  page and YouTube channel.
