Miss Grand International 2021 contestants' orientation and sash ceremony was held on Wednesday, November 17 at Four Points by Sheraton Phuket Patong Beach Resort in Thailand. The reigning Miss Grand International from the United States of America, Abena Appiah, led the traditional MGI event. Out of 56 contestants present during the ceremony, our team picked Miss Indonesia, Sophie Louise Rogan as best-dressed. (Miss USA 2020 Asya Branch) Miss USA 2021 will be held on Monday, November 29 at the Paradise Cove Theater of River Spirit Casino Resort in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The 70th edition of the competition will be hosted by American TV personality Zuri Hall and Hollywood's top makeup artist Patrick Ta, while media personality Nicole Adamo to serve as a lounge host. At the end of the event, Asya Branch of Mississippi will crown her successor, who will go on to represent the United States at the Miss Universe 2021 pageant. This will be the second consecutive year to be broadcast on FYI, and the first to be streamed live on Hulu. The edition will mark the first year of the competition under Crystle Stewart's directorship. After successfully staging a virtual pageant on its 20th anniversary last year, the Miss Earth organization thought it best to forego the live staging of the pageant for the second time due to the continuous rise of COVID-19 cases worldwide. Miss Earth 2021 is set to be held this November and for its 21st edition, the pageant takes on the theme “Colors of the Earth” to reflect the vast and unique biodiversity of the world. "The safety of the delegates, the production staff, and the public is still paramount for the organization, and will not, in any way, but anyone involved with the event at risk," the organizers said.
