Jeremy Gregory Samatara has been officially appointed to represent Indonesia at the 15th Mister International pageant in Thailand this September. The 25-year-old international relations and flight school graduate from North Sulawesi was the second runner-up during The New L-Men of the Year 2023 final held on July 29 at Balai Sarbini in Jakarta. Although he did not claim the title, he shared: "Moments like this make me feel like being grateful is an understatement. I got the chance to meet and learn the story behind these incredible and inspiring people." Fabiënne Nicole Groeneveld edged out 29 other competitors to win Miss Universe Indonesia 2023 in a glittering competition held on Thursday, August 3 at the Beach City International Stadium in Jakarta. The 23-year-old model and business graduate representing DKI Jakarta was also awarded Miss Confidently Beautiful during the preliminary competition. She will now prepare to represent Indonesia at Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador this November. Miss Mega Bintang Indonesia 2023, a national pageant organized by Yayasan Dunia Mega Bintang and its founder Ivan Gunawan already kicked off last month. Following an audition round held at Le Meridien Jakarta in early March, the selected Top 20 finalists vying for the national titles at stake have been officially revealed. The finalists' orientation will be in May while the grand coronation will take place in June at a venue yet to be announced. Ivan Gunawan's YouTube channel will broadcast the final show. Indonesia is set to debut at Reina Hispanoamericana 2023 as Ivan Gunawan, founder of Yayasan Dunia Mega Bintang, has been officially announced as a license holder. The first-ever Reina Hispanoamericana Indonesia will be chosen among the Top 5 finalists of the upcoming Miss Mega Bintang Indonesia 2023 pageant. Originally called Reina Sudamericana until 2007, Reina Hispanoamericana is a Bolivia-based international beauty pageant organized by Promociones Gloria since 1991. It aims to celebrate the Hispanic heritage, language, and culture. The annual competition started welcoming representatives from beyond South America in 2004.
