Miss Analamanga, Antsaly Rajoelina, was crowned Miss Madagascar 2022 in a national competition held at the Arena Ivandry in Antananarivo on Monday, April 18. The 23-year-old beauty who holds a degree in management bested 18 other contestants to win her title. She succeeds last year's winner and Miss World Top 40 semi-finalist, Nellie Anjaratiana. Lisimonde Rabemananjara of Fitovinany and Christelle Dolsain of Boeny were the first and second runners-up, respectively. The Miss World 2021 Top 40 will return to Puerto Rico to compete for the 70th Miss World final at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in San Juan on March 16.
