Chawanphat "Spy" Kongnim bested 15 other finalists to win Miss Earth Thailand 2022 on Monday, August 29 at the Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok. The 24-year-old beauty is native of Lopburi Province and holds a degree in liberal arts major in English from Rangsit University. Saruta Mahasing, Natrawee Chiarasathid, Natchaya  Meesom, and Jitrana Kengkanna respectively bagged the elemental court titles Miss Earth Air, Miss Earth Water, Mis Earth Fire, and Miss Earth Land Thailand.  The new Miss Earth Thailand succeeds last year's winner and Miss Earth 2021 Top 4 finalist Jareerat Petsom. She will now prepare to represent Thailand at Miss Earth 2022 this November in the Philippines. Miss Ekiti, Esther Oluwatosin Ajayi, was crowned Miss Earth Nigeria 2022 in a glittering grand coronation show held on Saturday, August 27 at the EUI Event Center in Port Harcourt. The 27-year-old beauty bested 24 other contestants to win her national title. She advocates the "Mash Up the Trash Initiative" which aims to create awareness and initiate actions among the youth on the effects of land-based pollution on the ecosystem. Her elemental court includes Miss Edo, Abigail Ojeabulu (Air), Miss Lagos, Emesiobi Dwelling Chisaoku (Water), Miss Rivers State, Precious Bakor (Fire), and Miss Anambra, Ikechukwu Ifunanya (Ecotourism). Law student Fabiane Valdivia Zambrana has been officially announced by Promociones Gloria on Monday, August 22 as Miss Earth Bolivia 2022. The 23-year-old beauty who also took courses in fashion design and speaks intermediate English will represent her country at Miss Earth 2022 in the Philippines this November. She is no stranger to pageantry as in 2018 she competed as Señorita Litoral in Miss Bolivia and bagged several awards including Miss Personality, Best Hair, and Best Smile. According to Promociones Gloria, the newly appointed Miss Earth Bolivia performs social work for the Oncologico Hospital, collaborates with animal shelters, and volunteered at the zoo as a guide and protector of flora and fauna. Miss Piura, Nancy Salazar, was crowned Miss Earth Peru 2022 in a competition held on Sunday, August 14 at DataVision studio in Lima. The 23-year-old business administration graduate succeeds last year's titleholder Briggitte Corrales and will represent her country at Miss Earth 2022 in the Philippines this November. Miss Lima Sur, Maria Pia Huaranca, was named Miss Earth Peru Aire while the representatives of Lambayeque, Shantal Vega, and La Libertad, Pierina Azañedo completed the Top 4 and clinched the titles Miss Earth Peru Fuego and Miss Earth Peru Agua, respectively.
