Lounès Texier was crowned Miss Poitou-Charentes 2023 with the presence of reigning Miss France Indira Ampiot of Guadeloupe in a competition held on Friday, September 1 at the Parc du Futuroscope in Chasseneuil-du-Poitou. The 18-year-old beauty from Périgné, Deux-Sèvres, beat 14 other competitors to win the regional title. She succeeds last year's winner Marine Paulais who placed in the Top 15 at Miss France 2023. Ondine Guerin was named first runner-up while Alizée Moreau, Manon Gilet, and Eva Da Silva were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. The 22-year-old customer service representative, of Morrocan descent, succeeds last year's winner Florence Demortier, and will now represent the French region of Midi-Pyrénées at Miss France 2024 later this year. Houdayifa Chibaco was proclaimed Miss Mayotte 2023 in a glittering competition held on Wednesday, August 30 at Ibis Styles Mayotte Aéroport in Pamandzi. The 21-year-old beauty from Mtsangamouji bested nine other contestants to win the title. She was crowned by the reigning Miss France from Guadeloupe, Indira Ampiot. The 18-year-old student and TV presenter bested 11 other competitors to win the regional title. She succeeds last year's winner and reigning Miss France Indira Ampiot.
