FAVORITES: Miss Grand International 2022 Top 16 pre-arrival favorites

In just one week, over 70 women from around the world will arrive in Bali, Indonesia for the Miss Grand International 2022 pageant, the 10th anniversary edition. We carefully observed and scored each contestant before the actual competition and we came up with a Top 16 list of favorites. Please note that one contestant (Miss Grand Vietnam) has not yet been chosen at the time of publication. Miss Grand Denmark 2022 is Victoria Kjær Theilvig

Victoria Kjær Theilvig has been officially announced as Miss Grand International Denmark 2022 and she will soon travel to Indonesia for the 10th Miss Grand International pageant. The 18-year-old former elite dancer from Søborg is a woman with great ambitions. She has already completed high school, where she studied marketing and economics, and is now taking a gap year, where she works full-time with her own company. Miss Denmark Organization headed by CEO Lisa Lents made the official announcement on social media early Monday morning. An official statement read: "The Miss Grand International pageant is one of the most prestigious events of its kind and millions of people from around the world will be watching the final competition. The contestants are going to have a memorable, once-in-a-lifetime experience." Miss Grand International 2022 will take place from October 4 to 25 in Bali and Jakarta, Indonesia. Official send-off for Miss Intercontinental, Globe, and Grand Philippines 2022

Three of this year's Binibining Pilipinas (Miss Philippines) titleholders will have an official send-off party this Monday, September 19 in Araneta City. Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental Gabriella Basiano, Binibining Pilipinas Globe Chelsea Fernandez, and Binibining Pilipinas Grand International Roberta Tamondong will soon depart for their international competitions this October. Gabriella and Chelsea will respectively compete for back-to-back wins at Miss Intercontinental 2022 in Egypt (October 14) and The Miss Globe 2022 in Albania (October 15) while Roberta will try to make history at Miss Grand International 2022 in Indonesia (October 25). Miss Grand Panama 2022 is Laura Sofia de Sanctis

Laura Sofia de Sanctis has been officially announced as Miss Grand Panama 2022 on Friday, September 9 and she will represent Panama at Miss Grand International 2022 in Indonesia this October. The 26-year-old social communication graduate is a radio and television presenter, an actress, and a professional model. She is currently working as a logistics manager for a fish processing company and also the CEO of Mundo de Madre Selva, a company focused on working with salvaged wood, which she herself works with Panamanian artisans. In addition, the new Miss Grand Panama is an animal lover, especially cats, and is passionate about philanthropy. She has carried out personal campaigns for various organizations related to cancer prevention, child labor, and tree planting. No stranger to pageantry, Laura is a former winner of Señorita Panama. Miss Grand Angola 2022 is Teresa Sara

Teresa Sara has been officially announced as Miss Grand Angola 2022 on Friday, September 9, and will represent her country at Miss Grand International 2022 in Indonesia this October. The 25-year-old law graduate received her crown in an intimate ceremony from last year's titleholder Márcia de Menezes, who placed in the Top 20 at Miss Grand International 2021 and bagged the Best in National Costume award. This year's Miss Grand Angola is a model, jurist, philanthropist, social volunteer, entrepreneur, and business strategist. She represented Zaire at Miss Universe Angola 2022 where she placed in the Top 10 last month. Teresa is the third Angolan representative at the Thailand-based Miss Grand International pageant. Meet the winners of Glamanand Supermodel India 2022

The Glamanand Supermodel India 2022 final competition took place on Sunday, September 4 at Zee Studios in a city of rich cultural heritage, Jaipur. Kashish Methwani, 21, was named Miss International India 2023 and will represent her country at the Miss International 2023 pageant. Her predecessor, last year's titleholder Zoya Afroz will compete in Miss International 2022 in Japan this December. The title of Miss Grand India 2022 went to 24-year-old Praachi Nagpal, who was crowned by Miss Grand India 2020 Simran Sharma. She will travel to Indonesia this October to compete in Miss Grand International 2022. Jigyasa Sharma and Arshina Sumbul were the first and second runners-up, respectively. Luiseth Materán to represent Venezuela at Miss Grand International 2022

Former Miss Universe Venezuela, Luiseth Materán, has now been confirmed as the new Miss Grand Venezuela 2022. The 26-year-old actress and social communication graduate from Los Teques, Miranda replaced Sabrina Deraneck who resigned due to personal reasons. Luiseth is no stranger to pageantry. She was named Miss Globe Venezuela 2015 and later on, she represented her home state of Miranda during Miss Venezuela 2020 and placed in the Top 5. Last year, she was appointed as Miss Universe Venezuela and went on to compete in Miss Universe 2021 in Israel where she placed in the Top 16. The new Miss Grand Venezuela will now prepare to represent her country in the upcoming Miss Grand International 2022 pageant in Indonesia this October. Sabrina Deraneck resigns as Miss Grand Venezuela 2022

Sabrina Deraneck officially announced her resignation as Miss Grand Venezuela and will no longer be competing in Miss Grand International 2022. In an official statement on social media, she said: "Giving up a dream or a crown is not easy at all, but it's not wrong to do it when it comes to your health and all your personal well-being. Sometimes there are those very personal reasons that force you to do it and this time it was my turn." She added that it was a difficult decision to make but according to her: "God is in charge of guiding my steps and making them the right thing, at the right moment and time. There will always be reasons to continue and I'm sure there are many ways to represent my beautiful country Venezuela later on." The 23-year-old beauty was unveiled as Miss Grand Venezuela 2022 during the national competition held in Caracas last August 13. Malaysia's representatives for Miss World 2022, Miss Supranational 2023, and Miss Grand International 2022 have been selected during the HyperLive Festival Malaysia 2022 on Saturday, August 27 at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. Meet the winners: Miss World Malaysia 2022 - Wenanita Angang, 23, from Kuala Penyu, is a conference producer living in Kuala Lumpur. She will represent Malaysia at the 71st Miss World pageant. Miss Supranational Malaysia 2023 - Deidre Walker, 28, from Sabah, is a model and psychology graduate. She will compete in Miss Supranational 2023 in Poland. Miss Grand Malaysia 2022 - Charissa Chong, 28, from Selangor, was first runner-up at Miss Universe Malaysia 2020. She will go to Miss Grand International 2022 in Indonesia this October. Last year's national titleholders Lavanya Sivaji, Melisha Lin, and Lishallinny Kanaran relinquished their reigns at the culmination of the competition. Reigning Miss World Karolina Bi
