After cancellations in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 60th Miss International is finally taking place in Japan later this year. Over 50 delegates have already been confirmed to participate in the final whose date and venue have yet to be announced by the organization. Meet the recently confirmed delegates from Canada, Colombia, Czech Republic, and Honduras: Miss International Canada 2022 Madison Kvaltin from northern Ontario is a 24-year-old entrepreneur who started her own body confident athletic brand, Skilla Athletics, and website design business. She holds a degree in sociology and business from Queen's University. Miss International Colombia 2022 Natalia Lopez Cardona is a 23-year-old model and law student from Quindio. She was second place during last year's Señorita Colombia competition in Cartagena and was named Virreina Nacional de Belleza. Five national titles were at stake at the culmination of this year's Miss Czech Republic pageant that took place at Fórum Karlín in Prague on Saturday, May 7. Krystyna Pyszková, a 23-year-old model and student from Třince was named Miss Czech Republic 2022 / Miss World Czech Republic 2022. She succeeds Karolína Kopíncová and will now prepare to represent the Czech Republic at the 71st Miss World (Miss World 2022) later this year. Adéla Maděryčová (23), Kristýna Malířová (23), Mariana Bečková (23), and Karolína Syroťuková (20) clinched the titles Miss International Czech Republic, Miss Supranational Czech Republic, Miss Grand Czech Republic and Miss Intercontinental Czech Republic, respectively. The Miss International Organization has revealed that the 60th Miss International pageant (Miss International 2022) will be held in Japan this December. There is no specific date and venue for the final yet but what is confirmed right now is that the competition will finally take place later this year. The organizers also said, "Prior to the arrival of all the delegates, we will make sure that each one has been taking part in various activities that promote the United Nation's Sustainable Development Goals." Virreina Nacional de Belleza Natalia Lopez Cardona has been officially announced as Miss International Colombia 2022. The 23-year-old model and law student from Quindío placed second during last year's Señorita Colombia competition in Cartagena. The Top 40 official candidates for Binibining Pilipinas 2022 have been announced during the final screening held at the New Frontier Theater in Araneta City on Friday, April 22. Reigning queens Binibining Pilipinas International Hannah Arnold, Miss Grand Philippines Samantha Panlilio, Miss Intercontinental Cindy Obenita, and Miss Globe Maureen Montagne were present at the event. Reigning Miss International Sireethorn "Bint" Leearamwat was present at the final show of the Miss Thailand 2022 pageant held in Bangkok on Sunday, February 6. Miss West Midlands, Evanjelin Elchmanar, was crowned Miss International UK 2021 in a glittering competition held at the the Park Hall Hotel in Lancashire last July 23. The 21-year-old beauty of Sri Lankan descent and former Miss Teen Great Britain succeeded previous winner and Miss International runner-up, Harriotte Lane. Masbate representative Hannah Arnold bested over 30 other contestants to win the Binibining Pilipinas 2021 pageant on Sunday, July 11 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City. The 24-year-old Filipino-Australian science advocate and model took home the title of Binibining Pilipinas International 2021 (Miss International Philippines) in her second attempt at the national competition.
