FAVORITES: Who will be crowned Miss Universe Thailand 2022?

In just a few hours, Anchilee Scott-Kemmis will crown her successor who will represent Thailand at the Miss Universe 2022 pageant. A total of 29 contestants are vying for the coveted national title and the new "Power of Resilience" crown by Mouawad tonight at True Icon Hall, Iconsiam, in Bangkok. The highly-anticipated final competition will be broadcast live on PPTV HD 36, TrueID, and TPNG YouTube channel from 8:30 p.m. (local time). Who will be crowned Miss Universe Thailand 2022? Miss Universe Thailand 2022 kicks off, final competition takes place on July 30

Miss Universe Thailand 2022, themed "New Beginnings" has officially kicked off with a press conference at Siam Paragon in Bangkok on Thursday, June 16 to announce the details of this year's competition. The winner, who will succeed last year's titleholder Anchilee Scott-Kemmis and represent Thailand at Miss Universe 2022, will be awarded the "Power of Resilience" crown by Mouawad and take home 1 million baht, a condominium unit, a car plus other prizes from sponsors. PPTV HD will broadcast the swimsuit competition round on July 17, the preliminary on July 27, and the final on July 30 in a venue that has yet to be disclosed. TPN Global, the Miss Universe franchise holder in Thailand, is now on its fourth consecutive year as organizers of the national competition in the country. Thailand's representatives for Miss and Mister Supranational 2022 crowned

The Miss and Mister Supranational Thailand 2022 national pageant was held on Friday, May 20 at Show DC's Ultra Arena Hall in Bangkok. Praewwanich Ruangthong, 29, was named Miss Supranational Thailand 2022 while Yoyo Teenarupakorn Muangmai, 27, clinched the Mister Supranational Thailand 2022 title. They will represent their country at Miss and Mister Supranational 2022 in Poland this July. "Finally I’ve reached my dream, and I promise that I will do my best for Thailand in [Mister Supranational] 2022," the new Mister Supranational Thailand shared on social media after winning his title. The new Miss Supranational Thailand also took to social media to share a photo of her crowning moment and wrote "I did it" in the caption. "I AM SUPRA and I’m from Thailand. Next station is Poland," she said in another post. Reigning Miss Supranational Chanique Rabe, and former Miss Supranational queens Mutya Datul and Anntonia Porsild, were special guests at the event.

Miss Grand Thailand 2022 is Engfa Waraha

Engfa Waraha was proclaimed Miss Grand Thailand 2022 in a glittering competition held at SHOW DC Hall in Bangkok on Saturday, April 30. The 27-year-old singer, model and actress representing Bangkok succeeds last year's appointed titleholder, Indy Johnson. Amanda Jensen and Thanawan Wigg were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Nesa Mahmoodi and Suphatra Kliangprom completed the Top 5. The new Miss Grand Thailand will represent her country at the Miss Grand International 2022 pageant this October in Indonesia. Thailand's Miss Earth - Fire 2021 Baitong Jareerat Petsom officially crowned

Five months after Miss Earth 2021 virtual final, reigning Miss Earth - Fire 2021 Baitong Jareerat Petsom of Thailand has been officially crowned at Intercontinental Hotel in Bangkok on Sunday, April 24. Miss Earth Thailand Organization headed by Dr. Sirikan Onsonkarn invited former queens Lindsey Marie Coffey of the USA (Miss Earth 2020), Michala Petrovna Rubinstein of Denmark (Miss Earth - Fire 2020), and reigning Miss Earth - Air from the USA, Marisa Butler as special guests at the coronation gala. Baitong was named Miss Earth - Fire 2021 during the virtual Miss Earth 2021 final competition held in November last year. She is reigning along with Miss Earth 2021 Destiny Wagner of Belize, Miss Earth – Air 2021 Marisa Butler of the USA, and Miss Earth – Water 2021 Romina Denecken van der Veen of Chile. Miss International 2019 Sireethorn 'Bint' Leearamwat stuns in white gown at Miss Thailand 2022 final show

Reigning Miss International Sireethorn "Bint" Leearamwat was present at the final show of the Miss Thailand 2022 pageant held in Bangkok on Sunday, February 6. The Thai beauty, 28, who also won the national pageant in 2019, looked stunning while attending the event in a white one-shoulder long gown by Gift Ratree and pieces of jewelry by Prima Thailand. Phuket-born and raised 25-year-old Manita Duangkham Farmer bested 24 other finalists to win the glittering competition at Central World. Bint is currently the longest-reigning Miss International titleholder after the Japanese-based beauty pageant was postponed at least twice due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The international pageant organizers have yet to officially announce if the 60th edition will finally be held later this year so the first-ever Miss International of Thailand can at last crown her successor. Thai-American beauty, Manita Farmer, wins Miss Thailand 2022 pageant

Manita Duangkham Farmer was crowned Miss Thailand 2022 in a glittering competition held on Sunday, February 6 at Central World in Bangkok. The 25-year-old Thai-American beauty who was born and raised in Phuket bested 24 other finalists to win her national title. She succeeds Natthapat Pongpraphan. Anphat Pitiprajakwat of Nakhon Pathom was named first runner-up while Wanida Rose of Bangkok, Athicha Rennie of Kanchanaburi, and Sornson Wittayaruengsuk of Bangkok, were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. The new Miss Thailand is a communication arts graduate of Bangkok University International College, a sales manager, and a volunteer teacher. It is still unknown if she will be sent to an international pageant but as the reigning titleholder, she will represent modern Thai women with a voice in society, participate in many public philanthropic missions, promote education, especially to disadvantaged children, and become an ambassador for culture and tourism. Miss Universe Thailand 2021 Anchilee Scott-Kemmis departed for Israel on Tuesday, November 23 to compete in the 70th Miss Universe pageant. The 22-year-old beauty who majored in sociology at the University of Sydney was wearing a blue jumpsuit by Thai fashion designer, Narong Ketkaew, during her departure.  Many fans and members of the press flocked to the Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok. Former Miss Universe Thailand and Miss Universe Top 10 finalist, Amanda Obdam, was also present to show her support. Anchilee will compete with over 70 other contestants from around the world to try to win her country's third Miss Universe crown on December 12 in the southern Israeli port and resort town of Eilat. Anchilee Scott-Kemmis bested 29 other contestants to be crowned Miss Universe Thailand 2021 in a glittering national competition held on Sunday, October 24 at the NICE Pattaya, Convention and Exhibition Center. The 22-year-old Thai-Australian model and social researcher holds a bachelor's degree in sociology. She succeeds last year's winner and Miss Universe Top 10 finalist, Amanda Obdam. Tharina Botes and Nanthiya Suwansawaeng were named first and second runners-up, respectively, while Kasama Suetrong and Pimnara Vonzurmuehlen completed the Top 5 finalists. Indy Johnson was officially named as the newly appointed Miss Grand Thailand 2021 during a press conference held on Wednesday, October 6 at PM Center in Bangkok. The 24-year-old beauty from Bangkok represented Pathum Thani and placed as the first runner-up during Miss Grand Thailand 2020 competition won by her predecessor, Patcharaporn “Nam” Chantarapadit. Miss Earth Thailand 2021 is Baitong Jareerat Petsom

Pageant veteran Baitong Jareerat Petsom was named Miss Earth Thailand 2021 in national competition held in Bangkok on Saturday, September 25. The 28-year-old architecture graduate from the southern Thai province of Chumphon is an environmental ambassador for the Green World Foundation and an advocate for sustainable ocean. She founded Baanbaan to promote a green lifestyle. Baitong will represent her country at the Miss Earth 2021 competition to be held virtually later this year. Miss Earth Thailand competition was held for the first time after an eight-year hiatus. The national organization is currently headed by Dr. Sirikan Onsonkarn of the Siri Hotel Group. Thailand has yet to win the Miss Earth crown. Its highest placements were in 2010 and 2013 with Watsaporn Wattanakoon and Punika Kulsoontornrut who both placed in the Top 4 and bagged the Miss Earth Water title. Miss Thailand 2020 is Natthapat Pongpraphan

Natthapat Pongpraphan bested 29 other contestants to win Miss Thailand 2020 on Saturday, December 13 at the Chiang Mai International Convention and Exhibition Centre. The 27-year-old beauty who hails from Nakhon Pathom province was crowned by last year’s winner and reigning Miss International, Sireethorn Leearamwat. She is a graduate of geosciences degree at Mahidol University in Kanchanaburi. Nithakan Aksornwan was named first runner-up while Supannikar Nopparat bagged the second runner-up position. Kamonporn Thongphol and Patitta Santiwitch were the third and fourth runners-up, respectively. This year’s winner received a new diamond-encrusted crown valued at 1.5 million baht. Sponsored by Siri Thai Gem, the crown inspired by the Chao Phraya River was crafted by Chawalit Chommuang. It is yet to be confirmed if the new Miss Thailand will represent her country at the next Miss International pageant.
