Krystyna Sokołowska was crowned Miss Polonia 2021/2022 in a national competition held at the OSiR Sports and Spectacle Hall in Włocławek on Friday, May 27. The 25-year-old student and sports club owner from Białystok edged out 19 other beauties to win her title. She succeeds last year's winner, Natalia Gryglewska. Karolina Malina of Kołobrzeg and Julia Baryga of Łódź were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Klaudia Andrzejewska of Włocławek and Sylwia Bober of Biłgoraj completed the Top 5. Miss Polonia 2019 and reigning Miss World Karolina Bielawska was present as a special guest at the glittering event. The new Miss Polonia was a former Miss Earth Poland winner who placed in the Top 10 at Miss Earth 2019 pageant held in the Philippines. It is not yet confirmed which international competition Krystyna will be sent to. Miss Polonia organization currently holds the national franchise for Miss World, Miss Intercontinental, and Miss Grand International pageants.

Daria Gapska was crowned Miss Northern Ireland 2022 in a national final held at Europa Hotel in Belfast on Monday, May 23. The 20-year-old nursing student from Co Antrim bested 23 other contestants to win her title. She succeeds last year's winner Anna Leitch and will now prepare to represent Northern Ireland at the 71st Miss World pageant. Maria Gigante of Cebu and Charyzah Esparrago of Taguig have been announced the Top 2 finalists at the conclusion of the Miss World Philippines 2022 Head to Head Challenge final round that took place on Monday, May 23 at Twin Lakes Hotel.  Angela Teng of Baliway, Bulacan, Ashley Subijano Montenegro of Makati, and Erika Kristensen of Carmona, Cavite were the rest of the Top 5. For the Talent Competition, 5 contestants emerged at the top from their presentations on Tuesday, May 24 at Hotel Lucky China Town. They are Alison Black of Las Piñas, Gwendolyne Fourniol of Negros Occidental, Paula Madarieta Ortega of Albay, Cassandra Bermeo Chan of San Juan, and Tsina Jade Chu of Iloilo Province. Over 20 beauties have already been confirmed as representatives of their respective countries and territories for the 71st Miss World edition. The final competition and official venue of the prestigious pageant are yet to be announced by the Miss World Organization. Reigning queen Karolina Bielawska of Poland, the second Polish to win Miss World, will crown her successor at the end of the event. Darcey Corria bested 19 other finalists to be crowned Miss Wales 2022 in a glittering competition held at The Riverfront in Newport on Sunday, May 8. The 21-year-old model and advocate from Barry was born to a white mother and a father of Jamaican heritage. She became the first-ever woman of color to win the Miss Wales pageant. Chepstow's Zoe Scrimshaw and Bridgend's Catrin Harries were the first and second runners-up, respectively. Five national titles were at stake at the culmination of this year's Miss Czech Republic pageant that took place at Fórum Karlín in Prague on Saturday, May 7. Krystyna Pyszková, a 23-year-old model and student from Třince was named Miss Czech Republic 2022 / Miss World Czech Republic 2022. She succeeds Karolína Kopíncová and will now prepare to represent the Czech Republic at the 71st Miss World (Miss World 2022) later this year. The Concurso Nacional de Belleza Ecuador 2022 (CNB Ecuador) pageant was held on Saturday, April 30 at the Teatro Sánchez Aguilar in Samborondón. Miss Santa Elena, Annie Zambrano, was proclaimed Señorita Ecuador 2022 (Miss World Ecuador). The 22-year-old entrepreneur who is pursuing her bachelor's degree in languages will represent Ecuador at Miss World 2022 later this year. Another winner of the competition is Valery Carabalí who was named Miss Supranational Ecuador 2022. She will travel to Nowy Sacz in Malopolska, Poland to compete for the Miss Supranational 2022 title this July. Reigning Miss World Karolina Bielawska has arrived in Ecuador as a special guest in the upcoming Concurso Nacional de Belleza Ecuador (CNB Ecuador) 2022 national pageant. Karolina's one-week tour of the South American country includes a reunion with her Miss World sister Amar Pacheco Ibarra, a meeting with the vice mayor of Guayaquil Josué Sánchez, a visit to the chocolate museum, and a trip to the Galápagos Islands as part of a marine conservation project. Former national gymnast Kristen Wright was named Miss World Australia 2022 at Palazzo Versace on Queensland's Gold Coast on Friday, April 29. The 23-year-old beauty who hails from Mornington, Victoria is a biomedical student and a scuba diving instructor. She succeeds Miss World Australia 2019 Sarah Marschke and will now prepare to represent her country at Miss World 2022 later this year.
