Karolina Bielawska arrives in Jakarta for Miss Indonesia 2022

Following her 2-day trip to Singapore, reigning Miss World Karolina Bielawska touched down in Jakarta, Indonesia on Monday, September 12. The Polish beauty will be a special guest this time during the Miss Indonesia 2022 final this Thursday. She will also be reunited with her Miss World sister Pricilia Carla Yules, the outgoing Miss Indonesia. "I feel almost like home. So excited to come back to this beautiful country and explore it all over again with new great friends from the Miss World Indonesia team," Karolina shared on social media. Miss World Trinidad and Tobago 2022: Meet the Top 17 finalists

Seventeen young women were selected to compete in the upcoming Miss World Trinidad and Tobago 2022 final. They were officially revealed last September 4 at The Brix, Autograph Collection in Port of Spain. Following a series of pre-pageant activities and training, the final competition will take place on November 6 at the National Academy for the Performing Arts (NAPA). Last year's winner Jeanine Brandt will crown her successor at the culmination of the event. The next Miss World Trinidad and Tobago will represent her country at the 71st Miss World pageant. Miss World Singapore 2022 is Oh Wei Qi

Oh Wei Qi was crowned Miss World Singapore 2022 in a glittering competition held on Saturday, September 10 at the state-of-the-art The Theatre at Mediacorp. The 23-year-old artist and entrepreneur will now prepare to represent Singapore at the 71st Miss World pageant. She succeeds last year's titleholder Khailing Ho. "Everything feels so surreal to me, it feels like a dream," she wrote in a statement on social media and recalled how she joined the pageant for the first time in 2021. "It was my first pageant experience and definitely one that taught me the beauty of Miss World and the possibilities I can do to give back to society," she said. She also added, "It showed me that my dreams are not as far-fetched as it seems if I am not willing to give up." Also crowned at the same event were Miss Intercontinental Singapore 2022 Gerlyn Cheah and Miss Globe Singapore 2022 Saranya Chyenne. A total of 12 contestants will be vying for the title of Miss Gibraltar 2022 on Saturday, September 17 at the Alameda Open Air Theatre Gibraltar. The final show will be broadcast live on GBC. At the end of the event, reigning Miss Gibraltar Janice Sampere will crown her successor who will represent the British Overseas Territory at the next Miss World pageant. Last June, Gibraltar's Ministry of Culture announced that the national competition will now be produced by No1 Models Gibraltar. Miss Suomi 2022 (Miss Finland) will be held this Saturday, September 17 at Valkoinen Sali in Helsinki. The final gala will be broadcast live on AlfaTV. At the end of the event, last year's titleholder Essi Unkuri will crown her successor who will represent Finland at the 71st Miss Universe pageant. Miss Indonesia 2022: 37 finalists compete for the title on September 15

A total of 37 finalists representing the provinces of Indonesia will compete for Miss Indonesia 2022 next Thursday, September 15 in Jakarta. Due to the expansion of Papua Province, three new provinces are being represented this year - the Papua Selatan (South Papua), Papua Tengah (Central Papua), and Papua Pegunungan (Highland Papua). An official press conference took place on Friday, September 9 at MNC Studios to formally introduce the finalists to the media. This year's pageant will be the 17th edition of Miss Indonesia. No competition was held in 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Pricilia Carla Yules, who won the title in 2020, placed in the Top 6 and bagged the Miss World Asia title at the 70th Miss World final last March in Puerto Rico. The 23-year-old beauty from Ljubljana bested 15 other finalists to win her national title. She is a dancer and student pursuing a degree in marketing communication and public relations. A student and entrepreneur originally from Beledweyne, Bahja Mohamoud, has been officially announced as Miss World Somalia 2022. She is now expected to represent her country at the 71st Miss World pageant. The 22-year-old is currently studying at the University of St. Thomas in Saint Paul, Minnesota, and enjoys swimming, boating, piano, violin, volunteering at animal shelters, and cooking every cuisine under the sun. Bahja grew up with a very early passion for medicine, mental health awareness, and education, with a particular interest in healthcare within the Somali community. Her first business was a chemical dependency clinic that had the goal of reducing the stigma of mental health conditions and co-occurring drug addiction in her community when she was only 18. The Miss Ukraine Committee has officially announced that applications for Miss Ukraine 2022 edition are now open. Ukrainian women living in any country who meet all the requirements of the pageant may submit their applications. For safety reasons, this year's casting will be held in two formats - online and offline. Details on the competition including the final date and format are yet to be announced but they will most likely be based on the security situation in the country.
