Muž roku 2022 (Man of the Year) was held last August 26 in Náchod, a town in the Hradec Králové Region of the Czech Republic. Matěj Švec, a 23-year-old football player, fitness trainer, and co-owner of a gym in Český Krumlov, was named Muž roku 2022. He also received the title Mister International Czech Republic 2022 and is expected to represent his country at the Mister International pageant. The runners-up, software developer Filip Šanda, 28, and barber Leon Vonaký, 20, were awarded the titles Man of the Year Czech Republic and Mister Global Czech Republic 2022, respectively. As titleholders, they are also expected to compete overseas in Man of the Year and Mister Global competitions. Last year, the winner Lukáš Vyšehrad participated in the Mister Grand International 2021 in Panama City, while the runners-up, Jiří Perout went on to place in the Top 24 at Mister Supranational 2022 in Poland, and Dominik Chabr conquered the Man of the Year 2022 title in Indonesia. Kim Hee Won was named Mister International Korea 2022 in a national competition held on Monday, August 29 in Seoul. The 28-year-old model and former football player from Jinju bested 33 other contestants to win the national title. Lee Yong Woo and Kim You Soo were the first runners-up; Kim Jon Wook, Yoo Byeong Eun, and Hong Seok Jin were the second runners-up; and Kim Sang Hun and Lee Won Young were the third runners-up. The new Mister International Korea and the runners-up are expected to represent their country at various international male pageants such as Mister International, Mister Supranational, Mister Global, Man of the World, Mister National Universe and Man of the Year. Juan Pablo Colías is Spain's representative for the upcoming 14th Mister International pageant in the Philippines. The 25-year-old model and aspiring firefighter from La Mudarra, Valladolid represented his province during Mister RNB España 2021 and bagged the title Mister RNB España Internacional 2022. He likes sports, traveling, and watching movies. During the national competition, he said: "If I were to win one of the titles, I will stand out and show the values I grew up with and made me who I am today  —  a great attitude towards everything that comes, great respect for everyone, and above all, work and dedication. Parañaque City representative Myron Jude Ordillano was named Mister International Philippines 2022 at the grand ballroom of Okada Manila on Monday, June 27. The 23-year-old model and aspiring actor edged out over 30 other contestants to win his title. He succeeds the 2019 winner Levin Carl Arguelles. Murcia representative, Daniel Lorente, was named Mister International Spain 2022 on Friday, June 17 in Pineda de Mar, Barcelona. The 20-year-old model and engineering student in Cartagena edged out 48 other contestants from across the country to win the national competition. Iván Cardell of Illes Balears and Borja Atanes of Ourense were the first and second runners-up, respectively. The representatives of Barcelona, Málaga, and Córdoba completed the Top 6 finalists. "I never imagined that something like this could happen to me. It has been a unique, incredible and unbeatable experience in all aspects, I have friends for life," the new Mister International Spain shared on social media. "I want to thank the organization for making all this possible and especially the people who have trusted me from the beginning," he added.
