The Miss Jamaica World 2022 final competition will be held on Sunday, December 4 at the Courtleigh Auditorium in New Kingston. A total of 13 beauties have been selected to take part in the upcoming national event where the opportunity to represent the "sprinting capital of the world" at the 71st Miss World pageant is at stake. Miss Earth 2022: Contestants officially depart for Manila, Philippines

It's departure time for the Miss Earth 2022 contestants as they head to Manila, Philippines to compete in the biggest international pageant dedicated to the protection and preservation of our planet Earth. Around 90 eco-warriors from all corners of the world are expected to arrive in the host country this weekend and kick off their official in-person events and activities. The reigning Miss Earth from Belize, Destiny Wagner, has for the first time since winning last year's virtual edition arrived at the Miss Earth headquarters on November 8. Unfortunately, she faced a bit of a health issue while in transit and needed to rest in order to bounce back better. The Miss Jamaica World 2022 Beach Beauty Fast Track competition was held on Sunday, November 6 at Fort Clarence Beach in St. Catherine. A total of 13 finalists paraded their swimsuit bodies to secure a spot in the Top 10 in the upcoming final on December 4 in Kingston. Miss Howard Johnson Realty, Shanique Singh, was awarded first place, and Miss RE TV, Lineisha Davis, in second place. Miss Universe Malta 2023: Meet the contestants

The sash presentation ceremony of the Miss Universe Malta 2023 pageant was held on Sunday, November 6 at The Brewhouse Malta in Birkirkara, Central Region. A total of 24 contestants received their official sashes with the names of the cities and towns they represent. One of them will succeed this year's appointed Miss Universe Malta, Maxine Formosa, who will compete at the 71st Miss Universe pageant in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA this January. The next Miss Universe Malta will be sent to the 72nd Miss Universe pageant (Miss Universe 2023) whose date and venue are yet to be announced. Miss International Japan 2023 is Tamao Yoneyama

Tamao Yoneyama beat over 30 other contestants to be crowned Miss International Japan 2023 on Tuesday, November 8 at the Nissho Hall in Tokyo. The 26-year-old model from Tokyo, who now wears the newly unveiled crown by Long Beach Pearl, will represent Japan at the Miss International 2023 pageant. Mio Ikeda placed second while Sumire Akune, Kumi Miyamaru, and Marika Goto were third, fourth, and fifth, respectively. While this year's Miss International will be held on December 13 at Tokyo Dome City Hall, the date and venue for the 2023 edition have not yet been announced. Since 1960, Japan has only won Miss International once, in 2012, with the now actress and book author Ikumi Yoshimatsu. Miss Charm Philippines 2023 is Annabelle McDonnell

Annabelle McDonnell has been officially announced as Miss Charm Philippines 2023 and will represent her country at Miss Charm 2023 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The 22-year-old student pursuing a degree in consular and diplomatic affairs was named first runner-up while representing Misamis Oriental during the Miss Universe Philippines 2022 final in April. No stranger to pageantry, the UK-born Filipina beauty from Iligan City has conquered several local pageants in the past including Miss Iligan 2018, Miss Lanao Del Norte 2019, Miss Millennial Philippines 2019, and Miss Kuyamis 2022. Based in Vietnam, Miss Charm was founded and initiated by the company Miss Charm International. Miss Universe Bulgaria 2022 is Kristina Plamenova

Kristina Plamenova has been officially announced as Miss Universe Bulgaria 2022 and will now represent her country at the 71st Miss Universe. The 26-year-old model and law graduate hails from the northwestern Bulgarian town of Byala Slatina and is currently living in Sofia. She is no stranger to pageantry, having won the title of Miss Sofia in 2019. Bulgaria has yet to win the Miss Universe pageant since the Balkan country debuted at the prestigious international competition in 1991. The new Miss Universe Bulgaria succeeded last year's titleholder Elena Danova and will now prepare to travel to New Orleans, Louisiana, USA for the upcoming Miss Universe edition this January. Chloe Powery-Doxey to represent Cayman Islands at 71st Miss Universe

Miss Universe Cayman Islands 2022 first runner-up Chloe Powery-Doxey has been confirmed to represent the Cayman Islands at the 71st Miss Universe pageant. The 25-year-old coach and Women of Valor Basketball Club alumna from the district of George Town replaced the national winner, Tiffany Conolly, who is currently facing legal proceedings related to assault, property damage, and disorderly conduct. As is customary, if for any reason a queen is unable to complete her reign or perform her duties, the first runner-up shall take over. The upcoming Miss Universe edition will be held at the New Orleans Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA on January 14. After two virtual editions due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the physical part of this year's hybrid format of the Miss Earth pageant is about to begin in the Philippines. Miss Universe beauties take center stage at extravaganza in Bangkok
