The 29-year-old model and mental health advocate will now prepare to represent the state of Connecticut at Miss USA 2024 in California this August. Former Miss Universe Honduras April Tobie has been officially designated as Miss International Honduras 2024. The 25-year-old marketing student, professional model, and digital content creator will head to Japan in November for Miss International 2024. No stranger to pageantry, April held the title Miss Universe Honduras 2017 and went on to compete in the 66th Miss Universe in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. Honduras was last represented at Miss International in 2022 with Zully Paz. The 62nd Miss International pageant is expected to take place in Tokyo, Japan where at the end of the event Andrea Rubio of Venezuela will crown her successor. The selection event and official announcement of the Top 16 finalists took place on Saturday, April 13 at Studio 21 in Hilversum. Previously held by Monica van Ee of the Miss Nederland organization, the license for Miss Universe Netherlands has been taken over this year by Milou Verhoeks of the Miss Beauty of the Netherlands. The 22nd edition of the Manhunt International Male Supermodel World Final will be held on May 26, 2024 in Ayutthaya, Thailand. Located in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, Ayutthaya was the capital of the Kingdom of Siam. The ruins of the old city now form the Ayutthaya Historical Park, an archaeological site that contains palaces, Buddhist temples, monasteries, and statues. Around 40 male models from all over the world are expected to arrive in Thailand to compete for the coveted title. This year's competition will celebrate Manhunt International's 30 years founding anniversary in the country. Thailand last hosted the competition in 2017.
