Miss RNB Cuenca, Ana Karla Ramírez, was crowned Miss Supranational Spain 2022 during the Miss RNB España 2022 pageant held on Saturday, May 28 in Torrox, Málaga. The 25-year-old TV internship student and dancer bested over 50 other beauties to win the national competition. She will join Mister Supranational Spain Manuel Ndele, who won his title last year, in representing their country at the Miss and Mister Supranational 2022 pageants in Poland this July. Caroline Rueda of Sevilla and Claudia Blanco of León were the first and second runners-up, respectively. Reigning Miss Supranational Chanique Rabe of Namibia was a special guest at the national competition. Miss Las Palmas, Hirisley Jiménez, was crowned Miss Grand Spain 2022 in a national competition held on Monday, May 2 in Maspalomas, Gran Canaria. The 20-year-old Cuban-Spanish beauty bested over 30 other contestants to win her title. She succeeds Alba Dunkerbeck and will now prepare to represent Spain at the 10th Miss Grand International (Miss Grand International 2022) competition in Indonesia this October. Oihana Torres of Euskadi was named first runner-up while Anakristina Rivero of Zaragoza finished second runner-up. Madrid's Kristina Caci and Granada's Natalia Quirós were the third and fourth runners-up, respectively. The reigning Miss Grand International Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien of Vietnam and Miss Grand International Vice President Teresa Chaivisut were special guests at the event. Sarah Loinaz bested 12 other finalists to be crowned Miss Universe Spain 2021 in a glittering national competition held on Saturday, October 16 in Tenerife. The 23-year-old model from Gipuzkoa succeeds Andrea Martínez and will now prepare to represent her country at the 70th Miss Universe pageant in Eilat, Israel this December.
