Finland to host the inaugural Miss Face International pageant

Finland, the happiest country in the world, is getting in on the international pageant scene and will host a global beauty contest for the first time ever. The "land of a thousand lakes" is set to stage the inaugural Miss Face International pageant in the summer of 2026. According to the organizer, Miss Face International will not only highlight the cultures of various countries but will also act as a networking platform for women worldwide. The pageant's slogan is "Connecting Beauty" and it aims to help women progress in their careers, develop their personal brand, and boost self-awareness on a global level. Organized by the Finnish modeling agency Studio Face, the event will take place in multiple locations throughout Finland, allowing contestants to immerse themselves in Finnish culture while also sharing their own. Miss Universe Venezuela 2025 is Clara Vegas of Miranda

Clara Vegas triumphed over 21 other contestants to win the title of Miss Universe Venezuela 2025 on Thursday, December 4 in Caracas. The 23-year-old model and actress from Miranda will represent Venezuela at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant to be held in Puerto Rico. Maria Evangelista Alayon of Amazonas was named first runner-up while Milena Paola Soto of Mérida, Gabriela de la Cruz of Yaracuy, and Gabriela Villegas of Monagas were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Completing the Top 12 were the representatives of  Barinas, Anabelly Ojeda, Bolívar, Yosdanny Navarro, Delta Amacuro, Kelly Maita, Dependencias Federales, Valentina Martínez, Portuguesa, Génesis Mendoza, Sucre, Rosangel Mundaraín, and Táchira, Valeria del Amor. Catalina Duque Abréu from Colombia was crowned Miss International 2025 at the culmination of the 63rd Miss International pageant on Thursday, November 27 in Tokyo, Japan. The 26-year-old model beat 79 other international beauties to win the coveted title. She succeeds last year's winner Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy of Vietnam. Yollanda Chimbarami of Zimbabwe, Paola Guzmán Sanchez of Bolivia, Melliza Xaviera Yulian of Indonesia, and Myrna Esguerra of the Philippines were named the first, second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Miss Universe Côte d'Ivoire 2025 Olivia Yacé has officially announced on Monday, November 24 her resignation as Miss Universe Africa and Oceania. "As the representative of Côte d'Ivoire at the Miss Universe 2025 competition in Bangkok, i witnessed firsthand that i was capable of accomplishing great things despite adversity," Olivia wrote on social media. "But to continue on this path, i must remain true to my values: respect, dignity, excellence, and equal opportunity the strongest pillars that guide me," she continued. Miss Jamaica Gabrielle Henry will stay in the hospital following her horrific accident during the Miss Universe 2025 preliminary competition on November 19 in Bangkok, Thailand. The 28-year-old doctor accidentally fell from the stage while walking in her evening gown and was immediately rushed to the local hospital. Her sister, Dr. Phylicia Henry-Samuels, who is currently in Thailand with their mother, Maureen Henry, advised the Miss Universe Jamaica organization of the latest development. She said, "Gabby isn't doing as well as we would have hoped, but the hospital continues to treat her accordingly." Medical personnel have indicated that Gabrielle will be required to remain in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for a minimum of seven days, as doctors continue their close monitoring and specialized care. The Miss Universe 2025 pageant has just concluded in Bangkok, Thailand today with the crowning of the new queen Fatima Bosch from Mexico. Praveenar Singh of Thailand was named first runner-up while Stephany Abasali of Venezuela, Maria Ahtisa Manalo of the Philippines and Olivia Yacé of Côte d'Ivoire were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. The contestants from Chile, Inna Moll, China, Zhao Na, Colombia, Vanessa Pulgarin, Cuba, Lina Luaces, Guadeloupe, Ophély Mézino, Malta, Julia Cluett, and Puerto Rico, Zashely Alicea made the Top 12 finalists. Two former Miss Universe titleholders Andrea Meza from Mexico and Natalie Glebova from Canada were part of the selection committee. The 21-year-old was greeted with a warm reception from the Miss Czech Republic team, led by Taťána Makarenko, along with media representatives and her fans, as she arrived on Sunday at Václav Havel Airport in Prague. Natálie has proudly brought home the second Miss Earth crown for her country, 13 years after Tereza Fajksová achieved the first one in 2012. Miss Venezuela World 2025 is Mística Nuñez of Falcón

Mística Nuñez, representing Falcón, was crowned Miss Venezuela World 2025 in a national competition held at the Studio 1 of Venevisión on Wednesday, November 12 in Caracas. The 24-year-old pharmacist and medical student succeeds last year's titleholder Valeria Cannavò and will represent Venezuela at the Miss World 2026 competition. Aside from Mística, two other beauties were crowned in the national pageant. Valeria Di Martino, a 20-year-old medical student representing Zulia, was proclaimed Miss International Venezuela 2025 and will head to Japan next year for the Miss International 2026 pageant. Miss World Chile 2025 is Ignacia Fernández of Las Condes

Ignacia Fernández, representing Las Condes, was crowned Miss World Chile 2025 in a national competition held on Sunday, November 9 in Santiago. The 27-year-old vocalist and model bested 19 other contestants to win the national title. She will represent Chile at the 73rd Miss World pageant. Melissa Campillay of Viña del Mar and Renata Arriagada of Valparaíso placed second and third, respectively. Completing the Top 5 were Macarena Maira of Lo Barnechea and Karol Eberl of La Reina. The new Miss World Chile is the lead vocalist of a death metal band Decessus and is an advocate for animal rights.
