Miss Earth Puerto Rico 2023 is Victoria Arocho of Caguas

Miss Earth Caguas Victoria Arocho was crowned Miss Earth Puerto Rico 2023 on Sunday, January 29 at the Centro de Bellas Artes de Caguas. The 20-year-old model representing Caguas bested 21 other competitors to win the national title. She succeeds Paulina Avilés — Miss Earth Puerto Rico 2022 and Miss Earth 2022 Top 8 finalist. Rounding out the Top 4 were Miss Earth Rincón Nashaly Muñiz, Miss Earth Fajardo Ashley Melendez, and Miss Earth Cayey Jaimar Cruz. They were named Miss Earth Air, Water, and Fire, respectively. Miss Earth Camuy Lizmarie Rodríguez and Miss Earth Guaynabo Monika Zayas completed the Top 6 finalists. The representatives of Bayamón, María Amador; Isabela, Andrea Arteaga; Loíza, Alondra Martínez; Manatí, Monique Alarcón; Ponce, Cynthia Goenaga; and Villalba, Jovanska Santiago were the rest of the Top 12 semifinalists. Miss Elegance France 2023 is Charlotte Brique

Miss Elegance Franche-Comté Charlotte Brique was crowned Miss Elegance France 2023 (Miss Earth France) in a glittering national final held on Saturday, January 28 in Albi, Tarn. The 24-year-old communications graduate from Belfort bested 21 other competitors to win her national title. She is expected to represent France at Miss Earth 2023 in Vietnam later this year. Miss Elegance Gascogne (Inès Sanchez-Isser), Nord-Pas-de-Calais (Alyssa Verhenne), Alsace (Chrislène Largen), and Midi-Pyrénées (Eva Mariotto) were announced the first, second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Last year's winner who competed in Miss Earth 2022 last November in the Philippines, Alison Carrasco, relinquished her reign and pass the crown to her successor at the end of the event. Miss Malta 2023: Meet the Top 5 winners

The 60th Miss Malta grand final took place last January 8 at Hilton Malta in St. Julians where a total of 30 finalists competed for the crowns at stake Anne Camilleri, a 24-year-old artificial intelligence graduate who represented Sliema, was crowned Miss Malta 2023. She is a software developer and is originally from Balzan. "It’s such a surreal moment for me, I am truly grateful," she told Lovin Malta in relation to winning her national title. It has yet to be confirmed if the new Miss Malta will be sent to the Miss Earth 2023 edition which is expected to be held in Vietnam later this year. The winner from 2021 who represented Malta at Miss Earth 2022 in the Philippines, Kim Pelham, relinquished her reign by passing the crown to her successor at the end of the final show. Kentucky's Danielle Mullins was proclaimed Miss Earth USA 2023 at the culmination of the national pageant held on Saturday, January 7 at the Linda Chapin Theater of the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. The 25-year-old professional stylist and makeup artist based in Louisville received her crown and sash from her predecessor Brielle Simmons of Connecticut. Maryland's Shawna Melvin was named Miss Earth USA Air while the representatives of Florida, Natalia Aldarondo, Nebraska, Angel Strong, and Tennessee, Gracie Pfaff were announced Miss Earth USA Water, Fire, and Eco, respectively. Rounding out the Top 12 were Arkansas, District of Columbia, New Mexico, New York, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, and Washington while the rest of the Top 20 were California, Hawaii, Idaho, Louisiana, Mississippi, Montana, Ohio and Virginia. Vanesa Švédová was crowned Česká Miss Essens 2022 (Miss Universe Czech Republic 2023) in a glittering final on Sunday, December 11 at the O2 Universum in Prague. The 19-year-old model from Přerov is now expected to represent the Czech Republic at the 72nd Miss Universe (Miss Universe 2023) pageant. "Oh my goodness, I still can’t believe y’all really chose me. After arriving back in Korea, the newly crowned Miss Earth 2022 Mina Sue Choi was bashed online for one reason — she came home with her international crown placed in a paper bag. Pageant fans paid attention to her arrival video posted on social media and were quick to criticize her including the Miss Earth organization for not placing the precious crown in an appropriate box. Not new to many, the original Miss Earth crown which is made of precious gems signifying the Earth's resources stays with the organization — the winner travels with a replica. While many defended the Korean beauty queen, the "crown in a paper bag" situation did not escape the rabid online bashers from noticing. Mina Sue Choi of Korea bested over 80 other competitors to win Miss Earth 2022 in a glittering competition held on Tuesday, November 29 at Cove Manila, Okada Manila in the Philippines. The 24-year-old communication student succeeded Destiny Wagner of Belize and became her country's first-ever Miss Earth winner. She also bagged three gold medals for the swimsuit, beach wear, and long gown competition, and one bronze for resort wear. Australia's Sheridan Mortlock, Palestine's Nadeen Ayoub, and Colombia's Andrea Aguilera finished in the Top 4 and were awarded the elemental titles Miss Earth - Air, Water, and Fire, respectively. Miss Earth 2022, the 22nd edition of the Miss Earth pageant culminates tonight at Okada Manila in the Philippines. This year's event marks the return of its live competition following two virtual editions in 2020 and 2021. Over the last two weeks, 80 eco-warriors from all over the Earth participated in preliminary events and activities, and toured various tourism destinations of the Asian tropical paradise, making memories of a lifetime. Hosted by Filipino-British television host and automotive journalist James Deakin, the show will be streaming live from 6 p.m. (Filipino time) on the Miss Earth official Facebook, YouTube, and Kumu around the world, and Globovision for Venezuela, Latin America, and the Caribbean.
