Miss Polski organization has officially announced its reigning queen Agata Wdowiak as Poland's representative at Miss Supranational 2022 competition. The 24-year-old model from Lodz was crowned Miss Polski 2021 in August last year and went on to compete at the 70th Miss Universe pageant in Israel. "I'm more than excited. Another international contest ahead of me," she shared on her social media account. Agata has a degree in business management and is currently studying Nanotechnology. She has always been passionate about music and graduated from music school with honors. Miss Supranational 2022 will be the 13th edition of the Poland-based pageant. The international organization has yet to announce the final date and venue of this year's competition. Miss Supranational Germany 2022 title was won by Sabrina-Merlina Binder in a national competition held on January 7 at Potsdamer Platz in Berlin. The 25-year-old Filipino-German beauty from Munich bested seven other finalists to win her national title. She will now prepare to represent Germany at Miss Supranational 2022 competition, possibly later this year, in Poland. Valentina Espinosa, the representative of the Bolívar department, was chosen as the new Señorita Colombia 2021 (Miss Colombia 2021) in a ceremony full of color, music, and a lot of Colombian talent on Sunday, November 14 at the Auditorio Getsemaní del Centro de Convenciones Julio Cesar Turbay Ayala in Cartagena. The 23-year-old social communication and journalism professional triumphed over 24 other beauties to win her national title. She succeeds María Fernanda Aristizábal Urrea and is expected to represent her country at the next Miss Supranational edition in Poland. Natalia López Cardona of Quindío placed second and was named Virreina Nacional while Karen Julieth Ortiz Díaz finished as the first princess. Lalela Mswane bested nine other finalists to be crowned Miss South Africa 2021 in a glittering competition held at the Grand Arena, GrandWest in Cape Town on Saturday, October 16. The 24-year-old model and dancer from KwaZulu-Natal holds a bachelor's degree in law from the University of Pretoria. She succeeds last year's winner, Shudufhadzo Musida. Zimi Mabunzi and Moratwe Masima were named runners-up while Bianca Bezuidenhout and Jeanni Mulder completed the Top 5. The prestigious national pageant was attended by reigning Miss Universe Andrea Meza, Miss World Toni-Ann Singh and Miss Supranational Chanique Rabe. Miss Turkey 2021 has crowned its official representatives for the next Miss Universe, Miss World, and Miss Supranational pageants on Wednesday, September 8 in Istanbul. Dilara Korkmaz, 23, Cemrenaz Turhan, 23, and Şira Sahilli, 21, were announced as Miss Turkey World 2021, Miss Turkey Universe 2021, and Miss Turkey Supranational 2021, respectively. Su Bige Korucu was named Miss Farmasi Turkey. While master's student Dilara will go on to represent Turkey at Miss World 2021 pageant in San Juan, Puerto Rico, engineering student Cemrenaz will travel to Eilat, Israel for Miss Universe 2021. The Top 10 finalist of the Miss South Africa 2021 national competition was virtually announced on Tuesday, August 3 on the pageant's online platform. Four finalists are from Gauteng, three from Western Cape, two from Eastern Cape and one from KwaZulu-Natal. They are Zimi Mabunzi, Jeanni Mulder, Bianca Bezuidenhout, Cheneil Hartzenberg, Kgothatso Dithebe, Catherine Groenewald, Moratwe Masima, Kaylan Matthews, Lalela Mswane and Tiffany Francis. The distinguished panel of judges includes former Miss South Africa titleholders Bokang Montjane-Tshabalala (2010), Liesl Laurie (2015), Melinda Bam (2011), and Tamaryn Green (2018). Miss Florida, Sophia Acosta, bested 16 other contestants to win the title of Miss Supranational USA 2021 in a national competition held last June 19 in Rosemont, Illinois. The runners-up were Felicity Véliz, Natalie Iman Duvalsaint, Devon Caleyy and Alexis Orozco. Sophia is expected to represent the United States at the Miss Supranational 2022 pageant to be held in Poland. "I have no words to express how blessed and honored I feel after being crowned Miss Supranational USA. It has been a long journey of hard work, dedication, and determination.
