Miss Teen USA 2022 will be crowned on October 1

Miss Teen USA 2022, the 40th edition of the annual Miss Teen USA pageant, will be held on October 1 at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada. At the culmination of the event, last year's winner Breanna Myles of Florida will crown her successor among 51 teens representing the 50 states and the District of Columbia. Like the Miss USA pageant on October 3, Miss Teen USA is produced by The Miss Brand Corporation, under the leadership of Crystle Stewart. This year's venue, which was announced in July, was chosen to honor Cheslie Kryst's memory and keep her legacy alive, as this is where she was crowned Miss USA in 2019. Few more weeks to go before we find out who will be Miss USA 2022. So far, the contestants are complete, all 51 of them, and their official headshots have been released, but the most exciting parts are yet to come, very soon! Haven't voted for your favorite yet? Miss US International 2022 is Kenyatta Beazer

Kenyatta Beazer, representing the Northeast, was crowned Miss US International 2022 last month at Avanti Palms Resort and Conference Center in Orlando, Florida. The 25-year-old model and chemistry student at Towson University hails from Baltimore City County, Maryland. She is expected to represent the USA at Miss International 2023. "I am so honored, and forever grateful for the opportunity to serve my community and my country," she wrote in a statement on social media after winning her title. Last year's winner Corrin Stellakis, who relinquished her reign at the end of the event, will compete in Miss International 2022 this December in Japan. The new Miss US International is no stranger to pageantry. She represented Maryland at Miss World America 2019 and placed in the Top 25. Miss USA Organization has officially released the headshots of the contestants vying for the coveted title of Miss USA 2022. The 51 beauties dipped into the water and posed in their wet looks for Houston-based fashion and beauty photographer Grant Foto. To see all the contestants' headshots and vote for your favorites, just go to the Miss USA official website . The People’s Choice winner will automatically advance to the Top 16 during the final show. The 71st edition of the Miss USA pageant will be held on October 3 at the Grand Sierra Resort and Casino in Reno, Nevada. Produced by The Miss Brand Corporation, under the leadership of Crystle Stewart, this year's competition will go back to the same place where Cheslie Kryst was crowned in 2019. The venue was chosen to honor the beauty queen-turned lawyer whose tragic passing at the age of 30 last January shocked the entire pageant community.  Miss USA 2022 will air live on FYI and Hulu Live TV at 5 p.m. PST / 8 p.m. EST. The delegates from all 50 states and the District of Columbia have already been selected. One of them will succeed Elle Smith of Kentucky and represent the USA at Miss Universe 2022. Brielle Simmons replaces Natalia Salmon as Miss Earth USA 2022

Miss Connecticut Earth, Brielle Simmons, who was a Top 4 finalist and was named Miss Earth USA - Water during the national competition held earlier this year, has been appointed as the new Miss Earth USA 2022. The 21-year-old student at St. John's University in New York majoring in legal studies with a focus on environmental law took over the title from Natalia Salmon for unknown reasons. Miss Earth USA organization made the official announcement last month. Brielle is the co-founder of Bringing Me Sunshine, a non-profit dedicated to combating homelessness and poverty, by providing environmental resources to children and families. She has earned the Presidential Bronze Service Award and is a member of the Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society. To decrease her carbon footprint, she embraces a vegetarian lifestyle, shops locally, and rather walks than drives. Miss Texas USA 2022 is R'Bonney Gabriel

Fashion designer and model R'Bonney Gabriel was crowned Miss Texas USA 2022 at Hilton Houston Post Oak Hotel on Saturday, July 2. The 28-year-old Friendswood representative became the first-ever Filipina woman to win the state title. She also joined last year and finished as first runner-up to Victoria Hinojosa. Sydni Leonard, Allie Drake, Lluvia Alzate, and Gisela Contreras were the first, second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. "My heart is filled with joy," the new Miss Texas USA wrote in a statement on social media. "It's an honor to become Miss Texas USA 2022. I want to thank everyone involved in this special time! Miss New York USA 2022 is Heather Nunez

Miss Sugar Hill, Heather Nunez, was crowned Miss New York USA 2022 in a glittering state competition held Friday, June 4 at the Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino in Niagara Falls. Originally from the Dominican Republic, the 26-year-old beauty who holds a degree in criminal justice grew up in New York City. Before finally winning her state title, she only placed as runner-up during the past two editions of Miss New York USA. "I am representing survivors of domestic violence, all the hard work I’ve accomplished was for you. So that you can see me and feel hope. We aren’t afraid to use our voice and we aren’t victims. We are survivors," she shared on social media before the competition. Last year's titleholder, Briana Siaca, relinquished her reign and crowned her successor at the end of the event. Miss Florida USA 2022 is Taylor Fulford

Miss Okeechobee USA, Taylor Fulford, was crowned Miss Florida USA 2022 in a state pageant held at Coral Springs Center for the Arts on Sunday, May 29. The 27-year-old life sciences graduate of the University of Florida and a teacher won her state title after trying for several years. She is the director and founder of Fit2BeYou and Crowns for a Cure. "Today I will compete for the title of [Miss Florida USA] for the last time. This journey I will always cherish for a lifetime and I wouldn’t change one thing regardless of the outcome because it has made me the person I am today," she wrote on social media before winning the competition. "No matter what challenges you may face that you can still pursue your wildest dreams," she added. USA's Morgan Claycomb was crowned Teen Universe 2022 in a glittering competition held at Teatro Nacional Rubén Darío in Managua, Nicaragua on Thursday, May 5. The 17-year-old beauty from Venice, Florida triumphed over 29 other contestants to win her international title. She succeeds last year's winner from Curacao, Rigene Isenia. Miss Mississippi USA 2022 is Hailey White of Southern Magnolia

Miss Southern Magnolia, Hailey White, bested 43 other contestants to be crowned Miss Mississippi USA 2022 in a glittering state competition held on Saturday, April 2 at the Pearl River Resort in Choctaw, Mississippi. The 23-year-old beauty from Hattiesburg succeeds last year's winner, Bailey Anderson. She will represent the southern state at the Miss USA 2022 national pageant. Concord resident, Morgan Romano, has been crowned Miss North Carolina USA 2022 in a state competition held at High Point Theater on Saturday, January 29. The 23-year-old beauty holds a degree in chemical engineering and currently working as an application engineer at R.E. Mason in Charlotte. According to her bio, she has a passion for STEM education for children and spends her free time volunteering with Project Scientist, an after-school program that provides a high-quality STEM curriculum to young girls. During her year, Morgan plans on expanding her initiative “Outside the Box”, which provides science kits to classrooms, children’s hospitals, libraries, and to students in need. Sad news shocked the entire pageant community after the tragic passing of Cheslie Kryst, an Emmy Award-nominated "Extra" correspondent, and a former Miss USA winner. According to reports, the 30-year-old jumped off a high-rise apartment building in Midtown Manhattan, New York, and her lifeless body was found on Sunday morning. "In devastation and great sorrow, we share the passing of our beloved Cheslie," her family shared in a statement. "Her great light was one that inspired others around the world with her beauty and strength. She cared, she loved, she laughed and she shined." Natalia Salmon, representing Pennsylvania, was crowned Miss Earth USA 2022 in a national final held on Saturday, January 8 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. The 22-year-old architecture and real estate development graduate from the University of Maryland College Park bested 50 other beauties to win the national competition. The Miss USA organization has finally shared the crowning moment of this year's winner from Kentucky, Miss USA 2021 Elle Smith. The 23-year-old journalist was crowned by Asya Branch of Mississippi during Monday night's glittering final competition in Tulsa, Oklahoma. "I am thrilled and honored to be your Miss USA 2021. I can’t say thank you enough to every single person who has supported me on this journey. Every single comment, every single message, and prayer did not go unnoticed," she shared on her social media page. "To the great state of Kentucky, you will forever have my heart. Miss Kentucky USA Elle Smith bested 50 other contestants to be crowned Miss USA 2021 on Monday, November 29 at the Paradise Cove Theater of River Spirit Casino Resort in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The 23-year-old reporter is a graduate of the University of Kentucky with a degree in broadcast journalism. She is the second woman from the state of Kentucky to win the national competition.  Caitlyn Vogel of North Dakota finished first runner-up while Ashley Carino of Florida and Sydni Bennett of Illinois were named the second and third runners-up, respectively. Maryland's Layilah Nasser, North Carolina's Madison Bryant, South Carolina's Marley Stokes, and Texas' Victoria Hinojosa completed the Top 8 finalists.
