22nd Manhunt International will be held in Ayutthaya, Thailand

The 22nd edition of the Manhunt International Male Supermodel World Final will be held on May 26, 2024 in Ayutthaya, Thailand. Located in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, Ayutthaya was the capital of the Kingdom of Siam. The ruins of the old city now form the Ayutthaya Historical Park, an archaeological site that contains palaces, Buddhist temples, monasteries, and statues. Around 40 male models from all over the world are expected to arrive in Thailand to compete for the coveted title. This year's competition will celebrate Manhunt International's 30 years founding anniversary in the country. Thailand last hosted the competition in 2017. Malin Chara-anan, representing Phuket, was crowned Miss Grand Thailand 2024 in a glittering event held on Saturday, April 6 at MGI Hall in Bangkok. The 27-year-old beauty triumphed over 70 other contestants to win the national title. She will represent Thailand at Miss Grand International 2024 in Myanmar this October. Kanyaphatsaphon Rungrueang of Pathum Thani was named first runner-up while Kittiyaporn Fungmee of Chumphon, Thansita Dilhokananskul of Lampang, and Aoratai Phangchan of Maha Sarakham were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. The contestants from Bangkok, Yuwaporn Songngam; Chai Nat, Phoraphak Worasophonphakdee; Phichit, Piyarada Wayuwech; Sakon Nakhon, Napapat Rungroj; Saraburi, Suntaree Uan-inth; and Satun, Emma Martini were announced as fifth runners-up. Since she arrived in Bangkok, Thailand for her first official visit to the country this week, reigning Miss Universe Sheynnis Palacios has been busy with many activities scheduled for her. One of the highlights of her activities with reigning Miss Universe Thailand and Miss Universe 2023 first runner-up Anntonia Porsild was meeting Ko Muang Phet, an albino Thai buffalo. The famous buffalo recently made headlines after being sold for a whopping 18 million baht (US $1.5 million) at a fair in Thailand. According to The Nation , aside from its striking beauty and colossal size, the buffalo is known for its remarkable breeding capability because 90% of its offspring will be born with albino traits. Ko Muang Phet also made a mark in the entertainment world, starring as the character Ai Khlaow's buffalo in the most recent version of the popular "Mon Rak Luk Thung" TV drama. Reigning Miss Universe Sheynnis Palacios touched down in Bangkok, Thailand earlier this week to officially kick off her Asian tour. The Nicaraguan beauty, who bagged her country's first crown in El Salvador last November, reunited with her sister queen and Miss Universe 2023 first runner-up Anntonia Porsild. Aside from Thailand, Sheynnis is also expected to visit Laos, Cambodia, China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, the Philippines, and India. "I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for the overwhelming love and support that I have received as we prepare to embark on this tour of Asia," the 72nd Miss Universe shared on social media. Reigning Miss Universe Thailand and Mis Universe 2023 first runner-up Anntonia Porsild reunited with Michelle Dee when she touched down in the Philippines for the first time on Monday, January 29. The Thai beauty was also welcomed by "PorDee" fans and members of the media who flocked to the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 for her arrival. Her short trip was for a photoshoot with Mega magazine. In a press conference held at KAO Manila, Anntonia shared she was delighted to be in the country and meet once again with Michelle. Both also expressed they're open to any future collaborations together including acting projects. Thailand's Chatnalin Chotjirawarachat bested more than 60 other competitors to win Miss Intercontinental 2023 on Friday, December 15 in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt. The 26-year-old became the second representative from Thailand to win the international title next to Miss Intercontinental 2014 Patraporn Wang (First Wang). Aside from winning the title, Chatnalin also bagged the inaugural Power of Beauty award which helped her secure a direct entry to the Top 7. Thailand's Worawalan Phutklang (Min Worawalan) was crowned Miss Planet International 2024 on Sunday, November 19 at Koh Pich Theater in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The 26-year-old beauty became the first Thai representative to win the international title. She succeeds  Maria Luisa Varela of the Philippines. Tharina Botes was crowned Miss Thailand World 2023 in a glittering competition held on Sunday, October 1 at the Palladium Hall of The Berkeley Hotel Pratunam in Bangkok. The 26-year-old Thai-South African model from Phuket will now prepare to represent Thailand at Miss World 2023 in India this December. Warangkhana Sirisathaphornsap and Ploiwarin Saenchai were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Chotnapa Kaewjarun and Chaba Jumsai Na Ayudhya rounded out the Top 5 finalists. Phitchawan Promthan, Melanie Flay, Supassara Supanya, Krongthong Chantarasompoch, and Prima Boonyavej were the rest of the Top 10 semifinalists. Ketwalee Phonbodi of Thailand was crowned Miss Aura International 2023 in a glittering competition on Friday, September 29 in Antalya, Turkey. The 19-year-old beauty became the first Thai woman to win the international pageant. She succeeds last year's winner  Riskyana Hidayat  from Indonesia. Indonesia's Sahida Sheik Iskandar was named first runner-up while Daniela Ștefan of Romania, Francisca Lavandero of Chile, and Tatiana Gonçalves of Brazil were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. The representatives from England, Briá-Renee Lawrence, Ghana, Claudia Darlene, the Philippines, Khryss Go, Portugal, Raquel Hurteková Libório, and Tatarstan, Ramina Pronina rounded out the Top 10 finalists. Cambodia, Canada, the Dominican Republic, Germany, India, Iran, the Netherlands, Russia, Türkiye, and Venezuela were the rest of the Top 20 semifinalists.
