Tatiana Calmell bested over 30 other contestants to win Miss Peru 2024 (Miss Universe Peru) on Sunday, June 9 at the Plaza Grau in Callao. The 29-year-old actress, representing the city of Talara, will now prepare to represent her country at the 73rd Miss Universe (Miss Universe 2024) in Mexico this November. She succeeds last year's winner and Miss Universe 2023 Top 10 finalist, Camila Escribens. The representative of Ica Región, Sofía Cajo, was crowned Miss International Peru 2024 and will head to Tokyo, Japan for Miss International 2024. The much-awaited Miss Peru 2024 (Miss Universe Peru) grand final, the 10th edition, will be held tonight at the Plaza Grau in Callao. Thirty-five contestants from across the country will compete for the national title and the opportunity to represent Peru at Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico. Phiranya Thipphomvong was crowned Miss Universe Laos 2024 in a national competition held on Saturday, June 8 at the Saint Phila Convention Hall in Vientiane. The 28-year-old from the province of Houaphanh bested 17 other contestants to win the national title. She will now prepare to represent Laos at Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico later this year. Miss Shqiperia (Miss Albania) 2024, the 26th edition of the national competition, was held on Friday, June 7 at Peqin Castle in Peqin, Albania.
