Miss World 2021: Contestants visit Sala Sinfónica Pablo Casals

Miss World 2021 contestants' adventure in sunny Puerto Rico continued with a visit to the Sala sinfónica Pablo Casals in San Juan to attend a classical concert. Los Cuentos De “Mi Madre La Oca” translated as the Stories of Mother Goose was directed by the talented Karlo Flores, who took the beauties on a journey with both vocal and musical storytelling. The reigning Miss World Toni-Ann Singh also joined the contestants together with Mr World Jack Heslewood and former Miss World winners Stephanie Del Valle and Vanessa Ponce. “The comedic ending was fun to watch. Certain folk tale endings were twisted, for example in the Princess and the Pea, the pea turned to soup. It was a very original Puerto Rican twist that I enjoyed,” Toni-Ann said about her favorite part of the concert. Source: Miss World

Miss Universe Denmark 2021 is Sara Langtved

Miss Danmark Organization's CEO Lisa Lents has officially announced Sara Langtved as Miss Universe Denmark 2021 on Thursday, November 25. The 26-year-old beauty is working in the legal department at a Danish university, Copenhagen Business School, where she is completing her degree in human resources. She succeeds Miss Universe Denmark 2020 Amanda Petri and will represent her country at the 70th Miss Universe pageant in Eilat, Israel on December 12. "Thank you so much to National Director - Lisa Lents, for giving me this amazing opportunity," the new Miss Universe Denmark wrote on her social media account. Sara is a former Miss Earth Denmark 2019 and spent a month competing for the Miss Earth title in the Philippines. Thailand's Anchilee Scott-Kemmis departs for 70th Miss Universe in Israel

Miss Universe Thailand 2021 Anchilee Scott-Kemmis departed for Israel on Tuesday, November 23 to compete in the 70th Miss Universe pageant. The 22-year-old beauty who majored in sociology at the University of Sydney was wearing a blue jumpsuit by Thai fashion designer, Narong Ketkaew, during her departure.  Many fans and members of the press flocked to the Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok. Former Miss Universe Thailand and Miss Universe Top 10 finalist, Amanda Obdam, was also present to show her support. Anchilee will compete with over 70 other contestants from around the world to try to win her country's third Miss Universe crown on December 12 in the southern Israeli port and resort town of Eilat. Puerto Rico welcomes Miss World 2021 contestants from over 100 countries and territories

After months of preparation, the sunny Caribbean Island of Puerto Rico started welcoming the Miss World 2021 contestants from across the world. This is the first time that the prestigious competition is taking place in a Spanish-speaking territory. Renowned for local gems such as El Yunque National Forest, exquisite mountain ranges such as Cordillera Central, Sierra de Cayey, Sierra de Luquillo, and Sierra de Bermeja, and hundreds of miles worth of stunning shoreline, the contestants are excited to enjoy all that this tropical paradise has to offer. Over 100 beauties will be staying at the Hyatt Regency Grand Reserve in Rio Grande, a municipality on the east coast of the island, where they will enjoy exploring the tremendous lagoon-style pool, unique architecture, and experience the wonderful local hospitality that Puerto Rico has to offer. The 70th Miss World final will air live across the world from the  Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot in San Juan on Thursday, December 16.

Over 100 contestants from around the world will soon arrive in Puerto Rico, the Island of Enchantment, for the prestigious 70th edition of the Miss World pageant. The beauties will be accommodated at the Hyatt Regency Grand Reserve Puerto Rico in Río Grande, their official residence for the next four weeks of competition. Nguyen Huynh Kim Duyen has finally been officially crowned as Miss Universe Vietnam 2021 during her send-off event held on Saturday, November 20 prior to her departure for the Miss Universe competition in Israel. The 26-year-old business administration graduate from Can Tho received her official crown and sash from her predecessor and Miss Universe Top 21 semi-finalist, Nguyen Tran Khanh Van. Miss Earth 2021 is Destiny Wagner, first major crown for Belize

Destiny Wagner, representing Belize, bested over 80 contestants from across the world to be crowned Miss Earth 2021 during the virtual final aired on Sunday, November 21. The 25-year-old entrepreneur from Punta Gorda, Toledo, made history for becoming the first-ever woman from her country to win the Miss Earth pageant and the first Belizean to win a major international beauty title. "I am overwhelmed right now with emotions. The words and the gratitude, it’s very hard to express but I am thankful. I am thankful for the Miss Earth organization and thankful for my team as well," she said after being announced the new queen. The reigning Miss Universe from Mexico, Andrea Meza, toured around Israel ahead of the upcoming 70th Miss Universe competition to be held in the country this December. Her itinerary included a visit to holy sites in Jerusalem's Old City on Wednesday, November 17. Amid boycott calls and pressures on contestants, Israel pushes through its historic hosting of the Miss Universe pageant in Eilat. Over 70 beauties from around the world will soon arrive to compete for the prestigious title. According to Andrea, the pageant shouldn’t be politicized. The Mexican beauty will relinquish her crown on December 12 in the southern Israeli resort city. Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2021 Michelle Marie Colón showed off her national costume for the 70th Miss Universe pageant on the "Viva la Tarde" program of Wapa TV. The national costume called "Protectora de Nuestras Costas” not only pays tribute to the Puerto Rican Afro-descendants but also carries a message of awareness for the conservation of the environment. Recycled materials such as plastic bottles, caps, and bags, some of the most common and harmful pollutants in the seas, were collected and transformed into art and music elements for this beautiful creation. Inspired by Puerto Rico's first indigenous music "la bomba" the costume is a collaborative work of Dominican designers Leonel Lirio and plastic artist Luis Rivas. “I wanted a dress that had color, movement, and that transmitted energy.
