Miss Universe Singapore 2022 is Carissa Yap


Carissa Yap bested nine other finalists to be crowned Miss Universe Singapore 2022 in a national competition held on Monday, October 17 at the Alcove at Caldwell House.

The 22-year-old business student at the National University of Singapore succeeds last year's winner and Miss Universe semi-finalist Nandita Banna. She will now prepare to represent Singapore at the 71st Miss Universe pageant in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA this January.

Yvonne Sashirekha, 27, and Denissia Li Xia Delangle, 21, were announced as the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Olivia Higgins, 27, and Sara Yong, 25, rounded out the Top 5.

The rest of the Top 10 finalists were Amira Yunos, Andrea Dias, Delvina Katerina Luther, Priyanka Annuncia, and Shien Tan.

Singapore fashion and couture designer Frederick Lee, COO of EQ World Pte Ltd and Miss Universe Singapore 1987 Marion Nicole Teo, actress and Miss Universe Singapore 2013 Shi Lim, fashion and commercial photographer Jeff Chang, and Paradox Singapore Merchant Court at Clarke Quay General Manager Jessie Khoo-Gan were this year's panel of judges.

The new Miss Universe Singapore walked away with prizes including a 4-night hotel stay at Paradox Singapore Merchant Court at Clarke Quay, a complete dental makeover from Orchard Scotts Dental, a diamond jewelry set from The Better Diamond, wardrobes and an all paid expenses trip to the US for Miss Universe.

Miss Universe Croatia 2025 is Laura Gnjatović from Zadar

Laura Gnjatović beat 13 other contestants to win Miss Universe Croatia 2025 on Monday, April 28 at Esplanade Hotel in Zagreb. The 23-year-old nursing student from Zadar was crowned by her predecessor, last year's winner Zrinka Ćorić. She will now prepare to represent Croatia at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. Lea Turkalj from Vukovar was named first runner-up while Dolores Kraševac from Kamanje, Ana Čulina from Svinjarevci and Rafaela Bartulović from Bjelovar were the second, third and fourth runners-up, respectively. Miss Universe Philippines 2025 is Maria Ahtisa Manalo of Quezon Province

Maria Ahtisa Manalo of Quezon Province was crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2025 on Friday, May 2 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. The 27-year-old from  Candelaria bested 65 other contestants to win the national title. She will represent the Philippines at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. No stranger to pageantry, Ahtisa is a former  Binibining Pilipinas International titleholder who went on to place first runner-up at the Miss International 2018 competition in Japan. She eventually joined Miss Universe Philippines 2024 and finished second runner-up. The national organization then awarded her the title of Miss Cosmo Philippines. Kunda Mwamulima was crowned Miss Universe Zambia 2025 on Saturday, April 20 at the Mulungushi International Conference Centre (MICC) in Lusaka. The 29-year-old registered nurse and model will now prepare to represent Zambia at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this November. No stranger to pageantry, Kunda is a former Miss Earth Zambia titleholder who competed in Miss Earth 2023 in Vietnam. Opal Suchata Chuangsri was officially proclaimed Miss World Thailand 2025 in a special press presentation held on Tuesday, April 22 in Bangkok. The 22-year-old political science major at Thammasat University will represent Thailand at Miss World 2025 in Hyderabad ( Telangana), India this May. No stranger to pageantry, Opal was previously crowned Miss Universe Thailand and went to Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico where she finished as the third runner-up. Señorita Panama org appoints Mirna Caballini for Miss Universe 2025

Mirna Alejandra Caballini Bouche has been revealed by the Señorita Panama organization as official representative of Panama for Miss Universe 2025. The 22-year-old professional model, singer, theater actress and fashion designer will head to Thailand to compete in the 74th Miss Universe pageant this November. No stranger to pageantry, Mirna previously represented Chiriquí at the Miss Universe Panama 2024 competition and finished as the second runner-up. The new Miss Universe Panama speaks Spanish, English and currently studies Italian. She is the CEO of MCaballini Productions, a company dedicated to the production of children's works. Roci Pankov from Amazonas was crowned Universal Woman Brazil 2025 on Thursday, May 1 at Studio Stage in São Paulo. The married 36-year-old psychologist, entrepreneur and activist succeeds Carina Manzi and will represent Brazil at Universal Woman 2025 in Jaipur, India this June. Amanda Caldeira of Minas Gerais and Izadora Alves of Goiás were the first and second runners-up, respectively. This year's event was the first edition of the Universal Woman Brazil pageant. A total of 20 contestants competed for the national title.
