Miss World 2021: Only Top 40 will return to Puerto Rico this March

Miss World Organization will announce today the official Top 40 contestants who will return to compete at the 70th Miss World final in Puerto Rico this March. Fifteen contestants have already secured their places in the Top 40 after winning the fast track events such as the Head to Head Challenge, Talent, Top Model, Sports, and Beauty With A Purpose, while the 25 remaining contestants who were chosen by the judges will be revealed within the day. The 15 contestants are from Botswana , Palesa Mofele, Cameroon , Audrey Monkam, Cote D'Ivoire , Olivia Yacé, England , Rehema Muthamia, India , Manasa Varanasi, Kenya , Sharon Obara, Mexico , Karolina Vidales, Mongolia , Burte-Ujin Anu, Nepal , Namrata Shrestha, Nicaragua , Sheynnis Palacios, Paraguay , Bethania Borba, Philippines , Tracy Perez, South Africa , Shudufhadzo Musida, United States , Shree Saini, and Venezuela , Alejandra Conde. Miss World 2021 temporarily postpones final show in Puerto Rico

Miss World 2021 temporarily postpones global broadcast finale in Puerto Rico due to health and safety interests of contestants, staff, crew, and general public. The finale will be rescheduled at Puerto Rico Coliseum Jose Miguel Agrelot within the next 90 days. SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico - After meeting with the virologists and medical experts hired to oversee the Miss World 2021 event and discussing with the Puerto Rico Health Department, the decision has been made by the organizers of the event to postpone the globally broadcast finale at the Puerto Rico Coliseum Jose Miguel Agrelot to be held within the next 90 days. As of yesterday, additional safety measures were implemented in the best interest of the contestants, production team, and spectators, understanding the event increased risks on the stage and in the dressing room. Miss World 2021: Several contestants test positive for COVID-19

Several Miss World 2021 contestants have tested positive for COVID-19 and will not be permitted to appear on stage this Thursday at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in San Juan, Puerto Rico. While none of those who tested positive required hospitalization, they have to follow a mandatory 10-day isolation period according to the spokesperson of Puerto Rico's health department. Julia Morley, CEO of the Miss World Organization, also said they are following national guidelines and if the contestants don't produce a negative molecular PCR test, they won't be on stage for the final show. The Miss World Organization has officially announced the Top 6 contestants of the Miss World 2021 Beauty With A Purpose, the core of the pageant. They are from  England , Rehema Muthamia, India , Manasa Varanasi, Kenya , Sharon Obara, Philippines , Tracy Perez, South Africa , Shudufhadzo Musida, and the United States , Shree Saini. The selected contestants will now automatically advance to the Miss World 2021 semi-finals and their Beauty With A Purpose projects in their own countries will also receive support from the MWO. The Top 10 finalists of the Miss World 2021 Beauty With A Purpose have been officially announced on Monday, December 13. Beauty With A Purpose is an event established in the 70s that is celebrated during the activities prior to the Miss World pageant. It awards the contestant with the most relevant and important charity project in her nation. Since 2005 the winner automatically advances to the quarter-finals. Miss World 2021: Burte-Ujin Anu of Mongolia wins Talent Challenge

Mongolia's Burte-Ujin Anu was announced the winner of the Miss World 2021 Talent Challenge and will now automatically advance to the semi-final. Amine Storrød of Norway placed second while Tamaki Hoshi of Japan placed third. Carol Drpic of Chile and Anna Leitch of Northern Ireland placed fourth and fifth, respectively. Karolina Vidales of Mexico was announced the winner of the Miss World 2021 Sports Challenge and will now automatically earn a place at the semi-final. Hugrún Birta Egilsdóttir of Iceland placed second while both the representatives of Guinea-Bissau, Itchacénia Da Costa, and Ireland, Pamela Uba placed third. Miss World 2021: Head to Head Challenge winners announced

After a busy couple of weeks interviewing each contestant in this year's Miss World Head to Head Challenge and the public votes have been tallied, the winners were finally revealed on Thursday, December 9 at the Capitolio De Puerto Rico in San Juan. The winners are contestants from Botswana , Palesa Mofele, Cameroon , Audrey Monkam, Cote D'Ivoire , Olivia Yacé, Nepal , Namrata Shrestha, Nicaragua , Sheynnis Palacios, Paraguay , Bethania Borba, Philippines , Tracy Perez, and Venezuela , Alejandra Conde. Miss World Cayman Islands, Colombia, Haiti, Indonesia, Mexico, Mongolia, Trinidad and Tobago, and Vietnam were the rest of the Top 16. This year broke records on the Mobstar Voting platform with 1.4 billion views and 70 million votes, making it busier this year than the last few years put together. Miss World 2021: Cote d'Ivoire's Olivia Yacé wins Top Model

Olivia Yacé of Cote D'Ivoire has won the Miss World 2021 Top Model competition held on Monday, December 6 where each contestant had the opportunity to showcase their best catwalk while wearing both national dress and designs made by Puerto Rican designers. The 23-year-old beauty will automatically advance to the quarter-final of the 70th Miss World final on Thursday, December 16 at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Cameroon's Audrey Monkam and Puerto Rico's Aryam Díaz were in second and third places, respectively, while the representatives of Bahamas, Czech Republic, Dominican Republic, France, Kenya, Mexico, Nicaragua, Poland, Venezuela, and Vietnam completed the Top 13.
