Miss World 2021: Only Top 40 will return to Puerto Rico this March

Miss World Organization will announce today the official Top 40 contestants who will return to compete at the 70th Miss World final in Puerto Rico this March.

Fifteen contestants have already secured their places in the Top 40 after winning the fast track events such as the Head to Head Challenge, Talent, Top Model, Sports, and Beauty With A Purpose, while the 25 remaining contestants who were chosen by the judges will be revealed within the day.

The 15 contestants are from Botswana, Palesa Mofele, Cameroon, Audrey Monkam, Cote D'Ivoire, Olivia Yacé, England, Rehema Muthamia, India, Manasa Varanasi, Kenya, Sharon Obara, Mexico, Karolina Vidales, Mongolia, Burte-Ujin Anu, Nepal, Namrata Shrestha, Nicaragua, Sheynnis Palacios, Paraguay, Bethania Borba, Philippines, Tracy Perez, South Africa, Shudufhadzo Musida, United States, Shree Saini, and Venezuela, Alejandra Conde.

Miss World 2021 final competition was supposed to be held last December but had to be rescheduled to March 16 this year due to COVID-19 concerns. Several contestants tested positive a few days prior to the final.

Over 90 beauties took part in the pre-pageant events in Puerto Rico but the organization made the difficult decision to cancel the final to secure the health and safety interests of the contestants, staff, crew, and general public.
