The Miss Czech Republic 2024 concluded on Saturday, May 11 with Adéla Štroffeková winning the national title from a field of 10 finalists. The 21-year-old model from Prague, who was also named Miss World Czech Republic 2024, received her crown from reigning Miss World Krystyna Pyszková. Hosted by Ondrej Novotny, this year's event marked the 15th anniversary of the annual Miss Czech Republic pageant. Four other worthy finalists were also crowned as representatives of the country for various international competitions. The Miss Czech Republic 2024 grand final will be held this Saturday, May 11 at Forum Karlín in Prague. A total of 10 finalists will be competing for the national title. The winner is expected to represent the Czech Republic at the 72nd Miss World. This year's event to be hosted by Ondrej Novotny will be the 15th anniversary edition of the annual Miss Czech Republic pageant. Former winner and Czech Republic's first Miss World Taťána Kuchařová will join CEO Taťána Makarenko and Creative Director Sam Dolce on the selection committee. Justýna Zedníková has been officially crowned Miss Supranational Czech Republic 2024 in a special crowning ceremony held on Saturday, April 20 at Duplex in Prague. The 21-year-old fashion model will now prepare to represent the Czech Republic at Miss Supranational 2024 on July 6 in Nowy Sącz, Poland. Justýna received her official sash and crown in the presence of reigning Miss Supranational Andrea Aguilera from Ecuador. She succeeds last year's winner Marie Jedličková. Following her victorious stint at the 71st Miss World in India, Krystyna Pyszková returned home on Sunday, March 24 to a warm homecoming in Czech Republic. Fresh from London, the beauty queen touched down in Prague where she was warmly received by her family, friends, and the media. Also present during her arrival at the airport were Miss Czech Republic national director Taťána Makarenko and her team. The next day, Monday, March 25, a homecoming press conference was held for the new Miss World at The Old Town Hall in her country's capital city. Czech Republic's Krystyna Pyszková was crowned the 71st Miss World in a glittering festival held on Saturday, March 9 at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, India. The 24-year-old model and student from Třince bested more than 100 other beauties to win the coveted title. She became the second Czech woman to become Miss World next to Taťána Kuchařová who won in 2006. Aside from modeling, Krystyna is currently pursuing her degrees in law and business administration. František Knobloch bested 11 other finalists to win the Muž roku 2023 (Man of the Year 2023) final held on Friday, August 25 at a municipal theater in Náchod. The 23-year-old from Hostivice is a law and molecular biology student at the Univerzity Karlovy (Charles University) in Prague and also working as a holistic coach in the field of comprehensive and preventive medicine at a private clinic. He was awarded the title of Mister Global Czech Republic 2023 and is now expected to represent the Czech Republic at Mister Global 2023 in Thailand this November. The Top 11 official finalists vying for Miss Czech Republic 2023 have been officially announced on Thursday, January 26 at Aureole restaurant in Prague. Along with the special presentation of the 11 competitors, a brand new crown designed by jeweler Olga Kopalova was also unveiled. The finalists and a 40-member team were next taken to the DoubleTree by Hilton Resort & Spa Marjan Island in the United Arab Emirates where they will train and prepare for the grand coronation.
