Tonight, an inspiring gentleman will walk away with the title of Mister Global 2022 during the 8th Mister Global edition live from the Royal Park Rajapruek in Chiang Mai, Thailand. A total of 39 handsome contestants from around the globe are vying for the coveted title. One of them will succeed Mister Global 2021 Vietnam's Danh Chieu Linh. Miss Universe 2022, the 71st edition of the Miss Universe competition will be taking place tonight at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA. India's Harnaaz Sandhu will pass the new Mouawad crown "Force for Good" to one of the 84 contestants at the end of the highly anticipated event. Tonight's pageant will be the first-ever edition under the ownership of Thailand-based JKN Global Group which is headed by its founder and CEO Anne Jakrajutatip. Hosted by Jeannie Mai and Olivia Culpo together with Catriona Gray and Zuri Hall as backstage commentators, the spectacular show will also feature musical performances from Big Freedia, Big Sam's Funky Nation, Amanda Shaw, Tank and the Bangas, and Yolanda Adams. After more than 2 years and the unfortunate cancellation of the event last December, Toni-Ann Singh of Jamaica, the longest-reigning Miss World in history will finally crown her successor. The highly-anticipated event will feature a musical performance by the Puerto Rico Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Miss World Musical Director Angel Velez, and a special tribute to the organization’s mission and legacy over the course of its tenured history will be made by Miss World 1975, Wilnelia Merced Forsyth TV personality Peter Andre and one of Latin America’s top actors and singers, Fernando Allende will serve as hosts.
