FAVORITES: Final Top 7 favorites for Miss World 2021

After more than two years of waiting, a new queen will finally succeed the longest-reigning Miss World from Jamaica, Toni-Ann Singh. Who will be crowned the 70th Miss World?

The Top 40 semi-finalists will be vying for the coveted title during tonight's final competition that will stream live at 8 p.m. EST / 5 p.m. PST from the Coca-Cola Music Hall in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Predicting who will win the pageant is quite a challenge but taking into account Miss World's criteria for judging, we came up with our list of favorites based on the contestants' performances during the pre-pageant events.

Miss Universe Japan 2026 is Sayuki Ito from Fukuoka

Sayuki Ito was crowned Miss Universe Japan 2026 on Tuesday, June 23 at the Shibuya City Cultural Center in Tokyo. The 26-year-old beauty from Fukuoka Prefecture will represent Japan at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant in Puerto Rico this November. Jasmyn Mimi Johnson and Erika Watanabe were named the first and second runners-up, respectivel, while Seiyu Hata and Mone Gibo completed the Top 5 finalists. Philippines wins second Miss Supranational crown

The 17th Miss Supranational beauty pageant was held on Friday, July 31 at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Poland. Katrina Llegado, a 28-year-old financial management graduate from the Philippines, was crowned Miss Supranational 2026 by her predecessor Eduarda Braum of Brazil. She bested over 60 other contestants to win her country's second Miss Supranational crown after Miss Supranational 2013 Mutya Datul. Eve Gilles of France was named first runner-up while Lara Marina of Brazil, Ndah Eno of Nigeria, and Karolína Gorylová of the Czech Republic were announced the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. The contestants from India, Avni Gupta, Indonesia, Agnes Rahajeng, Poland, Oliwia Mikulska, Spain, Nelly Mestre, Tanzania, Tracy Nabukeera, Venezuela, Silvia Maestre, and Vietnam, Quynh Mai Ngo made the Top 12. Miss Universe Spain 2026 is Susana Medina of Las Palmas

Susana Medina from Las Palmas beat 16 other contestants to win Miss Universe Spain 2026 on Saturday, July 18 in Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife. The 27-year-old model and actress will represent Spain at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant in Puerto Rico this November. "Today starts a new phase filled with dreams, challenges and great opportunities. We are sure you will represent Spain with elegance, strength, authenticity and all your heart," the Miss Universe Spain organization shared online. The new Miss Universe Spain is no stranger to pageantry. In 2024, she was crowned Miss Grand Spain and finished third runner-up at Miss Grand International 2024 in Thailand. Baguio's Gwendoline Soriano crowned Binibining Pilipinas International 2026

Binibining Pilipinas 2026, the 62nd Binibining Pilipinas pageant, was held on Saturday, July 18 at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City. Gwendoline Soriano of Baguio City was crowned Binibining Pilipinas International 2026 and will represent the Philippines at Miss International 2027 in Japan. Crowned Binibining Pilipinas Globe 2026 was Sasha Lacuna of Tarlac Province. She will go to Albania for The Miss Globe 2026 pageant later this year. Julianne Raine Antonio of Dumaguete City and Tracy Mae Sunio of Bacolod City were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. Following rounds of online screenings, the Miss Ukraine Committee has officially announced the 25 contestants for the Miss Ukraine 2023 pageant. This year's event will be held in an online format where every Ukrainian will for the first time be able to participate as a jury by voting on the Miss Ukraine official website . According to the organizers, proceeds from the competition will be used to help and support those affected by the ongoing armed conflict in the country. Kamilla Kiss, 25, was crowned Miss Universe Hungary 2026 on Friday, June 19 at Kálmán Imre Theater in Budapest. She beat 11 other contestants to win the national competition and will now prepare to represent Hungary at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant in Puerto Rico this November. Lilien Sarka and Kinga Óvári were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. The new Miss Universe Hungary succeeds last year's winner Kincső Dezsényi. Vanessa Pulgarin from Colombia was proclaimed the winner MGI All Stars 2026 on Saturday, May 30 at MGI Hall in Bangkok, Thailand. The 34-year-old model bested over 50 other contestants to win the first edition of the pageant. She is expected to return for the second edition to defend her title. Meet the winners of Miss Turkey 2025

The glittering Miss Turkey 2025 national competition was held last December 19 at the Lazzoni Hotel in Istanbul. A total of 20 stunning finalists were chosen to compete for the national titles that were at stake — Miss Turkey World and Miss Turkey Supranational. Sıla Saraydemir, a 22-year-old student, was crowned Miss Turkey World 2025. She is expected to represent Turkey at the 73rd Miss World competition whose date and venue have yet to be announced. Pernambucana Luana Cavalcante was crowned Miss Universe Brazil 2024 in a national competition held on Thursday, September 19 at Teatro Gamaro in São Paulo. The 25-year-old model and actress from the state of Pernambuco will represent Brazil at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant in Mexico this November. Gabriele Marinho of Alagoas and Maria Fabiana Mata of Rio de Janeiro were proclaimed the first and second runners-up, respectively.
