Miss Universe Great Britain 2024 is Christina Chalk from Dunblane

Christina Chalk was crowned Miss Universe Great Britain 2024 on Saturday, July 6 at The Riverfront Theatre and Arts Centre in Newport, Wales. The 30-year-old Scottish-Filipino pharmacology graduate from Dunblane, Scotland bested over 40 other finalists to win the national title. She succeeds last year's winner Jessica Page Lennon. Eddison Emam and Evanjelin Francia Elchmanar were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Rehema Muthamia and Cara Frew rounded out the Top 5 finalists. The new Miss Universe Great Britain is no stranger to pageantry. In May, she represented the United Kingdom at the Miss Universe Philippines 2024 pageant and made the Top 20 among 53 contestants. Christina will now prepare to represent Great Britain at the 73rd Miss Universe (Miss Universe 2024) in Mexico this November. Jessica Page bested over 30 other competitors to win the Miss Universe Great Britain 2023 final on Saturday, July 8 at The Riverfront Theatre & Arts Centre in Newport, Wales. The 27-year-old businesswoman from Liverpool succeeds Noky Simbani and will now prepare to represent Great Britain at the 72nd Miss Universe (Miss Universe 2023) in El Salvador. The Miss Great Britain 2022 national final was held on Friday, October 21 at Athena in Leicester City Centre, England. Over 60 incredible women from all over the country took part in the glittering show where three national titles were at stake — Miss Great Britain, Ms Great Britain and Ms Great Britain Classic 2022. The contestants were judged in various rounds of competition consisting of fashion wear, swimsuit, evening gown and interview. South Lanarkshire's Amy Meisak, a 28-year-old business owner and property investor, was crowned Miss Great Britain 2022. She is a former Miss Earth Scotland (2015) and Miss Grand Scotland (2017). Noky Simbani was crowned Miss Universe Great Britain 2022 in a glittering event held on Saturday, July 9 at The Riverfront in New Port, Wales. The 25-year-old Zimbabwean beauty from Derby bested over 30 other contenders to win the national title. She succeeds last year's winner, Emma Rose Collingridge and will now prepare to represent Great Britain at Miss Universe 2022. Anglee Kumar and Paidamoyo Mangi were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Lauren Parkinson and Charlotte Kamale completed the Top 5 finalists. Applications now open for Miss Universe Great Britain 2022

Applications are now open to those who would like to participate in the Miss Universe Great Britain 2022 competition. The deadline for submission of the application is on January 31. To be eligible, applicants must meet the following requirement: - Resident of England, Scotland or Wales - British passport holder - Between 18-28 years old (must be over 18 and under 28 - ie 27 - on 1st January in the year of the final) - Free to take part in Miss Universe (if crowned Miss Universe GB) - Never have been married or have had children The final competition is expected to take place in July and the winner will represent Great Britain at the Miss Universe 2022 pageant later this year. Last year's titleholder and Miss Universe 2021 Top 16 semi-finalist from Ipswich, Emma Rose Collingridge, will crown her successor at the end of the event. Emma Rose Collingridge was crowned Miss Universe Great Britain 2021 in a national final held on Saturday, October 16 at the Riverfront Arts Centre in Newport, South Wales. The 23-year-old beauty from Suffolk bested over 20 other finalists to win the competition and succeed Jeanette Akua. Christina Chalk and Amy Meisak placed first and second runners-up, respectively, while Stephanie Hill and Charlotte Kamale completed the Top 5. The new Miss Universe Great Britain holds an honours degree in English from Loughborough University. South African beauty Jeanette Akua to represent Great Britain at the 69th Miss Universe pageant

Jeanette Akua has been officially announced as Miss Universe Great Britain 2020 on Monday, March 8. She was virtually crowned by the outgoing titleholder Emma Jenkins of Wales. The 27-year-old singer and songwriter of South African descent is a graduate of a master's degree in economics. She was a finalist on X Factor UK in 2013 and a semi-finalist on Britain's Got Talent in 2017. "This win means so much to me. It's more than just a crown. Pageants are more than just beauty. It's bigger than that. It's about celebrating women and the many layers we come in. It's about being audacious and having the nerve to pursue your dreams. Feeling the fear and doing it anyway," she said on social media shortly after winning the competition.
