Indonesia has been officially announced as the host country of the 10th year anniversary of Miss Grand International. The announcement was made during the Miss Grand International 2021 final competition held at the SHOW DC Hall in Bangkok, Thailand on December 4. Miss Grand Indonesia National Director Ivan Gunawan was welcomed onto the stage during the show so MGI President Nawat Itsaragrisil can officially entrust the right to host next year's grand edition. The Miss Grand International 2022 final competition will take place on October 25, 2022, in the beautiful city of Jakarta, Indonesia.

Miss Grand International 2021 contestants' orientation and sash ceremony was held on Wednesday, November 17 at Four Points by Sheraton Phuket Patong Beach Resort in Thailand. The reigning Miss Grand International from the United States of America, Abena Appiah, led the traditional MGI event. Out of 56 contestants present during the ceremony, our team picked Miss Indonesia, Sophie Louise Rogan as best-dressed. Meet the official delegates of the Miss Earth 2021 virtual competition from Bulgaria, Indonesia, Northern Marianas, and Peru: Miss Earth Bulgaria 2021 is 28-year-old Yuliia Pavlikova. She holds a doctorate degree in economics and is a member of the Fund for the Protection of Animals. Monica Francisca Khonado was appointed as Miss Earth Indonesia 2021. She is a host and moderator and founded the sustainability project Voice of Nature Indonesia. Crystal Fiona Rio was named Miss Earth Northern Marianas 2021 in a national competition held at the Hyatt Regency Saipan on September 18. The 18-year-old college student is currently working towards her master's degree in psychology. Miss Earth Peru 2021 is Briggitte Corrales, who is a graduate of business and marketing. At 26, she has established her own modeling production and created a beauty pageant for plus-size women to empower them and help them achieve their goals. Source: Miss Earth

Indonesian-English model from Bali, Sophia Rogan, has been officially named Miss Grand Indonesia 2021 on Thursday, May 20. The 19-year-old beauty was chosen to succeed Miss Grand Indonesia 2020 and Miss Grand International 2020 third runner-up Aurra Kharishma. "With this platform, my goal is to embody an authentic and genuine spirit, and use my voice to stand up for what I believe in - because at the end of the day making a positive impact in the world is what really matters," she wrote on her official social media page.
