Former Miss Grand and Miss Universe Bolivia Camila Sanabria, has announced her withdrawal from the upcoming Miss Supranational 2023 pageant. In a statement on social media, she mentioned the time and dedication required in her personal and professional projects, at a turning point in her life, as reasons for her decision. "I am infinitely grateful for the opportunity that Promociones Gloria gave me to represent my country in Miss Supranational, calling myself Bolivia has been my greatest pride," she wrote. "Despite the insistence of my agency and the support with so much affection that I have been constantly receiving from all of you, I must decline my participation, thanking you with all my heart," she added. Her message to fans and supporters: "Thank you all for so much love and for believing in me. I hope at some point to represent my country again as you deserve it." The 27-year-old holds a bachelor's degree in business administration and a master's in commercial management. She took part in Miss Bolivia 2022 representing Santa Cruz and bagged the Miss Supranational Bolivia 2023 title. Last October, she was designated as Miss Grand Bolivia and went on to compete in Miss Grand International 2022 in Bali, Indonesia. Maria Camila Sanabria Pereyra has been appointed as the new Miss Universe Bolivia 2022 and will represent her country at the 71st Miss Universe pageant in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA this January. The 27-year-old beauty replaced the previous titleholder Maria Fernanda Pavisic Rojas who was dethroned due to her controversial "social experiment" video mocking her fellow competitors at Miss Universe. No stranger to pageantry, the newly proclaimed Miss Universe Bolivia has in October competed in Miss Grand International 2022 which was held in Indonesia and unfortunately missed a placement. Camila holds a bachelor's degree in business administration and master's in commercial management. She represented Santa Cruz at Miss Bolivia 2022 in July where she was originally named as her country's representative at Miss Supranational 2023. Law student Fabiane Valdivia Zambrana has been officially announced by Promociones Gloria on Monday, August 22 as Miss Earth Bolivia 2022. The 23-year-old beauty who also took courses in fashion design and speaks intermediate English will represent her country at Miss Earth 2022 in the Philippines this November. She is no stranger to pageantry as in 2018 she competed as Señorita Litoral in Miss Bolivia and bagged several awards including Miss Personality, Best Hair, and Best Smile. According to Promociones Gloria, the newly appointed Miss Earth Bolivia performs social work for the Oncologico Hospital, collaborates with animal shelters, and volunteered at the zoo as a guide and protector of flora and fauna. "Fabiane is kind-hearted and considers that simplicity leads to great things," the organization wrote in their official statement.
