Miss Universe Cameroon 2022 is Mouketey Lynette Monalisa Jelly

Miss Cameroun 2023 first runner-up Mouketey Lynette Monalisa Jelly has now been confirmed to represent her country Cameroon at the 71st Miss Universe pageant. The 26-year-old beauty from Douala is a youth empowerment advocate and founder of the Miss Monalisa Charity Foundation, a non-profit organization that helps change the lives of disadvantaged children and young people. Jelly represented South West at the recently held Miss Cameroun 2023 where she placed second to Ndoun Issie Marie Princesse. No stranger to pageantry, she also previously held the titles Miss Commonwealth Africa Charity 2021, Miss University Africa Central 2021, and Miss Beach 2015. The new Miss Universe Cameroon now prepares to travel to New Orleans, Louisiana, USA for the international competition this January. Miss Cameroun 2023 is Ndoun Issie Marie Princesse

Ndoun Issie Marie Princesse was crowned Miss Cameroun 2023 (Miss Cameroon) on Saturday, November 12 at the Palais Polyvalent des Sports de Yaoundé. The 22-year-old management student and breast cancer advocate representing Littoral bested 18 other finalists to win the national title. She is now expected to represent Cameroon at the Miss Universe pageant. Miss South West, Mouketey Lynette Monalisa Jelly, and Miss Ouest, Raissa Ngueuleu Zollo, were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. This year's competition was the 16th edition of the Miss Cameroun pageant. Cameroon, a country in west-central Africa, made its debut at Miss Universe in 2021 (Miss Universe 2020) with Angèle Kossinda. Miss World 2021: Cote d'Ivoire's Olivia Yacé wins Top Model

Olivia Yacé of Cote D'Ivoire has won the Miss World 2021 Top Model competition held on Monday, December 6 where each contestant had the opportunity to showcase their best catwalk while wearing both national dress and designs made by Puerto Rican designers. The 23-year-old beauty will automatically advance to the quarter-final of the 70th Miss World final on Thursday, December 16 at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Cameroon's Audrey Monkam and Puerto Rico's Aryam Díaz were in second and third places, respectively, while the representatives of Bahamas, Czech Republic, Dominican Republic, France, Kenya, Mexico, Nicaragua, Poland, Venezuela, and Vietnam completed the Top 13. Also awarded in the same event was the Top Designer Dress winner, Tara Hong of Korea, followed Cote D'Ivoire in second place and Iraq in third place. Photos: Miss World
