Sóldís Vala Ívarsdóttir to represent Iceland at Miss Earth 2025


Former Miss Universe Iceland Sóldís Vala Ívarsdóttir was officially proclaimed Miss Earth Iceland 2025 during the recently held Ungfrú Ísland 2025 (Miss Iceland) pageant in Reykjavík.

The 19-year-old beauty received the crown from her predecessor Hrafnhildur Haraldsdóttir who made the Top 4 at the Miss Earth 2024 pageant in the Philippines.

She was previously crowned Ungfrú Ísland 2024 (Miss Iceland/Miss Universe Iceland 2024) and went to Miss Universe 2024 last November in Mexico.

The new Miss Earth Iceland, who practiced gymnastics for 10 years before moving on to soccer, will now prepare to represent her country at Miss Earth 2025.

In a recent post on social media, Sóldís shared photos from her crowning moment with the caption, "I am so proud to announce that i will be representing Iceland at [Miss Earth] later this year."

USA wins back-to-back Miss International Queen titles

Lo Colby of the USA was crowned Miss International Queen 2026 on Saturday, September 19 at the Tiffany's Show Pattaya in Pattaya, Thailand. The Hawaiian-born Thai-American transgender beauty based in Los Angeles bested 26 rival contestants to win the coveted title. She also bagged the Best in Talent award. Lo succeeds last year's winner and fellow American Midori Monét, securing an unprecedented back-to-back victory in Miss International Queen history. Daiana Stefani Pereyra is the new Miss Universe Argentina

Daiana Stefani Pereyra has officially been named the new Miss Universe Argentina 2026 after the crowned titleholder Tamara Rogouski stepped down for personal reasons. The 28-year-old cabin crew competed for La Pampa and earned the first runner-up position at the national pageant in May. She will now gear up to represent Argentina at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant scheduled for Puerto Rico this November. Miss World 2026 is Joheirry Mola from the Dominican Republic

Joheirry Mola Dominguez from the Dominican Republic bested 110 other contestants to win Miss World 2026 on Saturday, September 5 in Nha Trang, Vietnam. The 24-year-old model, teacher, news correspondent and advocate received the coveted crown and sash from her predecessor Opal Suchata Chuangsri from Thailand. She became the second woman from the Dominican Republic to become Miss World next to Mariasela Álvarez who won in 1982. Veera Grönlund, a 30-year-old from Helsinki, was crowned Miss Suomi 2026 (Miss Finland 2026) on Saturday, September 5, at Hybridiarena Hype in Espoo. The passionate animal advocate and aspiring veterinarian will represent Finland at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant in Puerto Rico this coming November.
