A press conference was held on Thursday, August 18 to officially announce the preliminary and final schedules of Miss Grand Vietnam 2022. The event took place at Sofitel Saigon Plaza and was attended by the reigning Miss Grand International Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien, Sen Vang Entertainment General Director Hoang Nhat Nam, pageant organizers, and sponsors. Former queens, newly crowned Miss World Vietnam 2022 Huynh Nguyen Mai Phuong, and runners-up Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc and Nguyen Phuong Nhi were also present. Schedules for this year's competition consisted of an online preliminary round on August 21 whose qualifiers will move on to face the judges in the next round on August 28. The fashion show, swimsuit, national costume, and final round will take place in September. There will also be a separate competition for the costume designers. The winning costume will be the official national costume of the next Miss Grand Vietnam at Miss Grand International 2022 in Indonesia. Miss Grand Vietnam

Lisseth Naranjo Goya has been appointed to replace previously crowned Miss Grand Ecuador 2022 Emilia Vásquez Larrea as the new titleholder. The 24-year-old business administration student from Cuenca also held the title in 2020 but was also replaced for unknown reasons. She will finally represent Ecuador at Miss Grand International 2022 in Indonesia this October. In addition to working in her family's company where bananas are produced for export, she is part of an economics circle called Adam Smith and owns her personal brand called Lisstology, based on cosmetic skin care products. Former Miss Universe Curacao Kanisha Sluis has been officially announced by the Curacao Beauty Pageant Committee as Miss Grand Curacao 2022 on Wednesday, August 17. The 26-year-old speech therapy student will represent Curacao at Miss Grand International 2022 final this October 25 in Indonesia. Kanisha was crowned Miss Universe Curacao 2015 and went on to compete at the 64th Miss Universe pageant at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, where she made it to the Top 10. "After 7 years I’m stepping back into the beauty pageant world as your Miss Grand international Curacao 2022," she wrote in a statement on social media. Sabrina Deraneck was proclaimed Miss Grand Venezuela 2022 on Saturday, August 13 at Teatro Municipal de Caracas (Municipal Theater of Caracas). The 23-year-old teacher by profession from the state of Mérida will represent her country at Miss Grand International 2022 in Indonesia this October. Alia Abized, 19, of Nueva Esparta, and Valentina Martinez, 22, of Anzoátegui were named Miss Elite Venezuela and Miss Grand Venezuela 2023, respectively. They are expected to compete in next year's Miss Elite World and Miss Grand International editions. A total of 22 beauties participated during the first edition of Miss Grand Venezuela. Seira Inoue was crowned Miss Grand Japan 2022 during the national competition held on Saturday, August 6 at Yokosuka Arts Theater in Kanagawa Prefecture. The 26-year-old Japanese-Filipino beauty bested 24 other finalists to win the national title. She succeeds last year's winner Chika Mizuno and will represent Japan at Miss Grand International 2022 in Indonesia this October. Maria Nasu, Mizuki Takashima, Anna Yamanouchi, and Yukino Jahana were the first, second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Former Miss Polonia, Natalia Gryglewska, has been officially announced by the Miss Polonia organization on Thursday, August 4 as the newly appointed Miss Grand Poland 2022. The 24-year-old beauty is a model, clinical dietitian and personal trainer from Lublin. She was crowned Miss Polonia 2020/21. Miss Alto Cafezal, Isabella Menin, was crowned Miss Grand Brasil 2022 (Miss Grand Brazil 2022) on Thursday, July 28 at Teatro da Caesb in Águas Claras, Brasília.
