Miss Bali, Laksmi Shari De Neefe Suardana, was crowned Puteri Indonesia 2022 (Miss Universe Indonesia) on Friday, May 27 at the Jakarta Convention Center. The 26-year-old marketing manager bested 43 other contestants to win her title. She succeeds Puteri Indonesia 2020 Ayu Maulida Putri and will represent her country at Miss Universe 2022. Cindy May McGuire of Jakarta was named Puteri Indonesia Lingkungan 2022 while Adinda Cresheilla of East Java clinched the title Puteri Indonesia Pariwisata 2022. They will be sent to Miss International and Miss Supranational pageants, respectively. Reigning Miss Universe Harnaaz Sandhu, Miss International Sireethorn Leearamwat, and Miss Supranational first runner-up Karla Guilfú graced the glittering event. It's officially confirmed that the 60th Miss International beauty pageant will be held on December 13 in Tokyo, Japan. The international pageant organization announced the final date and venue on Monday, May 23 after canceling for 2 years due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Almost 60 contestants have already been selected to participate in the upcoming edition with new countries expected to debut such as Cape Verde and Uzbekistan while Seychelles is set to return after last competing in 1995. Over 50 delegates have already been confirmed to participate in the final whose date and venue have yet to be announced by the organization. Five national titles were at stake at the culmination of this year's Miss Czech Republic pageant that took place at Fórum Karlín in Prague on Saturday, May 7. Krystyna Pyszková, a 23-year-old model and student from Třince was named Miss Czech Republic 2022 / Miss World Czech Republic 2022. The Miss International Organization has revealed that the 60th Miss International pageant (Miss International 2022) will be held in Japan this December. There is no specific date and venue for the final yet but what is confirmed right now is that the competition will finally take place later this year. Virreina Nacional de Belleza Natalia Lopez Cardona has been officially announced as Miss International Colombia 2022. The 23-year-old model and law student from Quindío placed second during last year's Señorita Colombia competition in Cartagena.
