The names of the first 19 contestants competing for Miss Venezuela 2022, the 70th Miss Venezuela edition, have been announced. According to Nina Sicilia, former Miss International and now general manager of Miss Venezuela organization, from around 300 beauties were shortlisted through the online application process, only 60 advanced to the face-to-face evaluation and finally, only 19 made it to the final list. There will be 24 official contestants when the representatives from the states of Anzoátegui, Bolívar, Carabobo, Monagas, and Zulia have been selected at their regional competitions later this month. Reigning Miss International Sireethorn Leearamwat has officially arrived for the first time in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam to attend the special send-off ceremony for Miss International Vietnam 2022. The Thai beauty was accompanied by Miss International Media Director Stephen Inventor Diaz during her official visit to the Southeast Asian country.
