Miss Jamaica World 2022 is Shanique Singh

Shanique Singh was crowned Miss Jamaica World 2022 from a field of 13 competitors on Sunday, December 4 at the Courtleigh Auditorium in Kingston. The 25-year-old medical student at the University of the West Indies also won the Beach Beauty, Talent, and Beauty With A Purpose fast track events. She has now succeeded last year's titleholder Khalia Hall and will now prepare to represent Jamaica at the 71st Miss World pageant. Lineisha Davis and Tahje Bennett were respectively announced as the first and second runners-up while Asheka Robinson and Toni-Ann Martin rounded out the Top 5 finalists. The new Miss Jamaica World will now embark on a wonderful journey of a lifetime raising her flag on the global stage and following the incredible footsteps of her predecessors. Her Beauty With A Purpose project is focused on the holistic approach to the reproductive and sexual health of females. Miss Jamaica World 2022 Beach Beauty Fast Track winner announced

The Miss Jamaica World 2022 Beach Beauty Fast Track competition was held on Sunday, November 6 at Fort Clarence Beach in St. Catherine. A total of 13 finalists paraded their swimsuit bodies to secure a spot in the Top 10 in the upcoming final on December 4 in Kingston. Miss Howard Johnson Realty, Shanique Singh, was awarded first place, and Miss RE TV, Lineisha Davis, in second place. Miss Courtleigh Hotel Group, Garisha Grant, and Miss Interlinc, Tashwania Buchanan, tied in third place. Miss Jamaica World 2021 is Khalia Hall

Khalia Hall bested 14 other contestants to be crowned Miss Jamaica World 2021 on Saturday, October 9 at the Courtleigh Auditorium in Kingston. The 25-year-old beauty holds a master's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Manchester in the UK. She will represent Jamaica at the Miss World 2021 (70th Miss World) finals in San Juan, Puerto Rico in December. Dominique Shorter and Melessa Vassell were the first and second runners-up, respectively. The new Miss Jamaica World succeeded Toni-Ann Singh, Jamaica's fourth Miss World and the longest-reigning Miss World due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Jamaica won the Miss World title four times with Carole Crawford (Miss World 1963), Cindy Breakspeare (Miss World 1976), Lisa Hanna (Miss World 1993), and Toni-Ann Singh (Miss World 2019).
