Señorita Antioquia and Virreina Nacional Colombia, Valentina Mora Trujillo, was officially announced as Miss Supranational Colombia 2023. The 25-year-old social communicator from Medellín will represent Colombia at the Miss Supranational 2023 pageant in Poland, possibly this July. Valentina represented Antioquia at Señorita Colombia 2022 last November in Cartagena where she placed second to Sofía Osío Luna of Atlántico and was named Virreina Colombia. She also bagged the Miss Smart Fit award. Colombia has yet to win Miss Supranational. The country's highest placement was first runner-up in 2017 with Martha Luz 'Tica' Martínez Insignares. Valentina Espinosa, the representative of the Bolívar department, was chosen as the new Señorita Colombia 2021 (Miss Colombia 2021) in a ceremony full of color, music, and a lot of Colombian talent on Sunday, November 14 at the Auditorio Getsemaní del Centro de Convenciones Julio Cesar Turbay Ayala in Cartagena. The 23-year-old social communication and journalism professional triumphed over 24 other beauties to win her national title.
