Former Miss Universe Iris Mittenaere announces engagement
Wedding bells are on the way for former Miss Universe Iris Mittenaere as she announced her engagement to entrepreneur Diego El Glaoui. The French beauty took to social media on Saturday, August 27 to share the happy news, which has received a lot of congratulatory messages. "It was on the shores of Lake Como that we said it would be forever," she wrote in French. Iris was crowned Miss France 2016 and went on to win the Miss Universe pageant in the Philippines. She was the second representative from her country to win the title next to Christiane Martel who won in 1953.
