The final group of national finalists for Miss Universe Australia 2024 was revealed during the South Australia state final on Monday, April 8 at Feathers Hotel in Burnside. Three beauties have been selected to represent South Australia at the national competition in August. They are Courtney Spear, Olivija Spanovskis, and Belinda Lesi. They will join the other finalists previously selected from Western Australia, Queensland, Victoria, and New South Wales to compete for this year's coveted crown. The Queensland state selection event happened on Sunday, April 7 at the Transcontinental Hotel in Brisbane, Australia. The state final for Victoria was held on Friday, April 5 at Bar Bambi in Melbourne, Australia. At the end of the event, Elizabeth Kalash, Laetitia Greco, Alana Deutsher-Moore, Octavia Beck, Alysia Salley, Renee Mourad, and Amy Lee earned their coveted spots as national finalists. Along with previously selected finalists from Western Australia and New South Wales, they will head to the Miss Universe Australia 2024 final as representatives of Victoria this August. A total of six national finalists for the Miss Universe Australia 2024 competition have already been selected from the west coast. This year's Miss West Coast state final took place on Tuesday, April 2 at The Camfield in Burswood, Perth. Indira Streckfuss was named Miss West Coast 2024, succeeding Brooklyn Metropolis, last year's titleholder and second runner-up at Miss Universe Australia 2023. The rest of the women who secured a spot as national finalists were Sifundo Nhlebela, Ally Draper, Mikaela Giancaspro, Unice Wani, and Olivia Allen. They will be representing Australia's largest state, Western Australia, at the Miss Universe Australia 2024 final this August.
