Miss Beni, María Estefany Rivero Giesse, was crowned Miss Bolivia Universo 2023 (Miss Universe Bolivia 2023) during the Miss Bolivia 2023 final competition held on Saturday, July 1 at Salón Sirionó de la FexpoCruz in Santa Cruz de la Sierra. The 26-year-old architect and interior designer bested over 20 other competitors to win the national pageant. She succeeds Camila Sanabria and will represent Bolivia at the 72nd Miss Universe (Miss Universe 2023) in El Salvador later this year. Srta. Miss Bolivia 2023, the 44th edition of the Miss Bolivia pageant, will take place this July 1 at Salón Sirionó de la FexpoCruz in Santa Cruz de la Sierra. Maria Camila Sanabria Pereyra has been appointed as the new Miss Universe Bolivia 2022 and will represent her country at the 71st Miss Universe pageant in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA this January. The 27-year-old beauty replaced the previous titleholder Maria Fernanda Pavisic Rojas who was dethroned due to her controversial "social experiment" video mocking her fellow competitors at Miss Universe. No stranger to pageantry, the newly proclaimed Miss Universe Bolivia has in October competed in Miss Grand International 2022 which was held in Indonesia and unfortunately missed a placement. Camila holds a bachelor's degree in business administration and master's in commercial management. She represented Santa Cruz at Miss Bolivia 2022 in July where she was originally named as her country's representative at Miss Supranational 2023. Her designation as Miss Grand Bolivia came after Alondra Mercado's renouncement of the title. Meet the new Miss Universe Bolivia:

The Miss Bolivia 2022 pageant took place on Saturday, July 16 in Santa Cruz de la Sierra. A total of 24 contestants competed for the three national titles at stake. Fernanda Pavisic, a 23-year-old psychology student from Cochabamba, was crowned Miss Bolivia Universo 2022 and will represent her country at the 71st edition of the Miss Universe (Miss Universe 2022) pageant. Camila Sanabria of Santa Cruz was named Miss Supranational Bolivia 2022 while María Jesús Jimenez of Tarija clinched the title Miss Bolivia Hispanoamericana 2022. They will be sent to Miss Supranational 2023 and Reina Hispanoamericana 2022 pageants, respectively.
