A total of 40 contestants, representing various provinces of Thailand, are currently vying for the coveted title of Miss Universe Thailand 2024. One of them will succeed Anntonia Porsild from Nakhon Ratchasima, last year's winner and Miss Universe 2023 first runner-up. This year's pageant themed "Beyond Universe" will have its final show on July 14 in Bangkok. The winner will represent Thailand at the 73rd Miss Universe (Miss Universe 2024) in Mexico this November. Miss Universe Thailand 2024: New Mouawad crown unveiled

A new Mouawad crown has been unveiled for Miss Universe Thailand 2024 during the "Ignite the Night" event on Thursday, June 20 at the Hyatt Regency Bangkok Sukhumvit. The unveiling event was attended by reigning Miss Universe Thailand and Miss Universe 2023 first runner-up Anntonia Porsild and the contestants who are vying for this year's coveted national title. Also present were Fred Mouawad, the crown sponsor for the fifth consecutive year, and TPN Global's Piyaporn Pui Sankosik, the national director of Miss Universe Thailand. Inspired by North Star, the new "Starlight" crown was crafted with 133 white diamonds totaling 7.54 carats, including the remarkable star-cut diamond, and more than 2,500 pieces of white gemstones totaling 176.76 carats. Reigning Miss Universe Thailand and Mis Universe 2023 first runner-up Anntonia Porsild reunited with Michelle Dee when she touched down in the Philippines for the first time on Monday, January 29. The Thai beauty was also welcomed by "PorDee" fans and members of the media who flocked to the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 for her arrival. Her short trip was for a photoshoot with Mega magazine. In a press conference held at KAO Manila, Anntonia shared she was delighted to be in the country and meet once again with Michelle. Both also expressed they're open to any future collaborations together including acting projects. The beauty queens became very close during their stint at Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador and in Mexico after the pageant in November. They remained as good friends after going back to their home countries. Miss Universe Thailand 2023 Anntonia Porsild wore a stunning yellow silk outfit for her departure look on Thursday, October 26 at the Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok. Many excited fans flocked to the airport to see the beauty queen before she boarded Turkish Airlines to El Salvador to capture her country's third Miss Universe crown. "No amount of words can explain how grateful I am to be able to stand here and represent not only our beautiful nation but each and every one of you as well," Anntonia shared on social media. "Thank you so much for coming to send me off to the Universe. I hope to make you all proud as I take you along this journey with me. Without all of you, today would not be possible," she added. Miss Universe Thailand 2023 is Anntonia Porsild of Nakhon Ratchasima

Anntonia Porsild bested over 50 other competitors to be crowned Miss Universe Thailand 2023 in a glittering competition held on Sunday, August 20 at MCC Hall, The Mall Lifestore Ngamwongwan in Nonthaburi. The 26-year-old Thai-Danish model representing Nakhon Ratchasima succeeds last year's winner Anna Sueangam-iam and will now prepare to represent Thailand at Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador this November. Kirana Jasmine Chewter of Mae Hong Son was named first runner-up while Praveenar Singh Thakral of Phuket finished as the second runner-up. Rounding out the Top 5 finalists were Chatnalin Chotjirawarachat of Prachuap Khiri Khan and Nicha Poonpoka of Lamphun. They were announced as the third and fourth runners-up, respectively. The Miss Universe Thailand 2023 national costume competition was held on Saturday, August 19 at the MCC Hall, The Mall Lifestore Ngamwongwan in Nonthaburi. It was the last major event of this year's pageant prior to the highly anticipated final and coronation night this coming Sunday. Each of the fifty-three contestants showcased their beautiful costumes that were inspired by traditional Thai clothing. They were not only aesthetically pleasing but also reflects the essence of Thai culture, history, and traditions. Five special awards were handed out — the Traditional Textile, Cultural Textile, Innovative Textile, Sustainable Textile, and Thai Royally Bestowed Textile awards and the recipients were MUT Phitsanulok, Krongthong Chantarasompoch, MUT Maha Sarakham, Chanya Tonngam, MUT Kanchanaburi, Katrina Lalita Kostrukoff, MUT Songkhla, Sajee Kantayos, and MUT Phuket, Praveenar Singh Thakral, respectively. The highly anticipated preliminary competition of Miss Universe Thailand 2023 took place on Friday, August 18 at the MCC Hall, The Mall Lifestore Ngamwongwan in Nonthaburi. Fifty-three contestants from all over the country heat up the stage with their sizzling swimsuit bodies and breathtaking elegance in sparkling evening gowns. The important event took place before tonight's national costume competition and the final show on Sunday, August 20 which be held at the same spectacular venue.
