Miss Universe Argentina 2024: Meet the contestants

The much-awaited Miss Universe Argentina 2024 grand final will be held on Saturday, May 25 at Auditorio de Belgrano in Buenos Aires. A total of 28 incredible women from across the country will compete for the coveted national title currently held by last year's winner Yamile Dajud . Reigning Miss Universe Sheynnis Palacios arrives in India

Fresh from her trip to the Philippines, Miss Universe 2023 Sheynnis Palacios arrived in India on Wednesday, April 8 to continue her Asia Tour. The Nicaraguan beauty queen was warmly welcomed early in the morning at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi by the new Miss Universe India team. The national license for the Miss Universe pageant in India was previously held by Miss Diva under its parent organization, Femina Miss India. Since February this year, it was taken over by the Glamanand Group with owner Nikhil Anand as the new national director. An independent Miss Universe India organization was established. Sheynnis has now checked in at Le Méridien, a 5-star hotel in New Delhi. She is expected to stay in the incredible country until May 9. Jeannie Mai to host Miss Universe Philippines 2024 final show

The Miss Universe Philippines organization has just announced Jeannie Mai as one of the hosts of the upcoming Miss Universe Philippines 2024 final show. Jeannie will join former Miss Universe R'Bonney Gabriel of the USA and Filipino actor Alden Richards in hosting the highly anticipated event. The Emmy award-winning TV personality was a backstage correspondent for the Miss Universe pageant in 2011, 2012, and 2013 then co-hosted the 2022 and 2023 editions. This year's Miss Universe Philippines grand coronation night will happen on May 22 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Metro Manila. Miss Universe Philippines 2024 Top 5 for interview challenge announced

The Top 5 contestants for the up close and personal interview challenge of the Miss Universe Philippines 2024 competition have been announced. According to the Miss Universe Philippines organization, the finalists for the challenge were determined purely by public votes via the official app of the pageant. The Top 5 contestants were Patricia Bianca Tapia of Hawaii, Alexie Mae Brooks of Iloilo City, Stephanie Faye Gerona of Quirino, Maria Ahtisa Manalo of Quezon Province, and Christi Lynn McGarry of Taguig City. Only one winner, to be revealed during the upcoming finals, will automatically earn a place as a semifinalist. Miss Universe Croatia 2024 is Zrinka Ćorić from Dubrovnik

Zrinka Ćorić was crowned Miss Universe Croatia 2024 in a glittering show held on Monday, May 6 at Esplanade Hotel in Zagreb. The 22-year-old beauty from Dubrovnik succeeds last year's winner Andrea Erjavec and will now prepare to represent Croatia at Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico later this year. Marta Leković was named first runner-up while Lana Vuković, Claudia Mihoković, and Sofya Kotava were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. This year's event marked the 28th edition of the annual Miss Universe Croatia pageant. Croatia has yet to win the Miss Universe crown since its debut at the pageant in 1997 with Kristina Čerina. The country managed to place in the semifinals four times with Sarah Ćosić (2009), Elizabeta Burg (2012), Shanaelle Petty (2017), and Mia Rkman (2019). Noelia Voigt steps down as Miss USA 2023

Miss USA 2023 Noelia Voigt officially announced her shocking resignation as titleholder in a post on social media on Monday, May 6.s "I realize this may come as a large shock to many. Never compromise your physical and mental well-being. Our health is our wealth," she wrote. "A million thank you's to all of you for your constant and unwavering support. Time to write the next chapter. I hope you’ll stick around to see what's next," she added. The Miss USA organization also released a statement on social media: "We respect and support Noelia’s decision to step down from her duties. The well-being of our titleholders is a top priority, and we understand her need to prioritize herself at this time." Celinee Santos Frias was crowned Miss Universe Dominican Republic 2024 during the Miss Republica Dominicana 2024 final competition held on Sunday, May 5 at Centro de Convenciones Sambil in Santo Domingo. The 24-year-old model and actress, representing Distrito Nacional, will now represent the Dominican Republic at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant in Mexico later this year. Melissa Nuñez of the Dominican Community in the USA was named first runner-up while Haidy Cruz of Monte Cristi finished as the second runner-up. Gemmy Quelliz of Santo Domingo Este, Alba Blair of Jarabacoa, and Karibel Perez of Santiago were the third, fourth, and fifth runners-up, respectively. The Miss Universe Philippines 2024 national costume competition was held last April 28 at Provincial Capitol Gym in Sultan Kudarat. Out of 53 colorful and spectacular costumes inspired by the rich flora and fauna of the Philippines as this year's theme, only three winners have been announced. The winning costumes were from Alexie Mae Brooks of Iloilo, Janet Hammond of Southern California, and Tamara Ocier of Tacloban. They each received P100,000 in cash. The Top 5 finalists for the Miss Universe Philippines 2024 Swimsuit Challenge have been officially announced on Sunday, May 5 online. Determined entirely by fan votes were Deanna Marie Maté of Cavite, Patricia Bianca Tapia of Hawaii, Alexie Mae Brooks of Iloilo, Maria Ahtisa Manalo of Quezon Province, and Janet Hammond of Southern California. To recall, the swimsuit challenge was held last April 20 in Boracay and the top-voted winner will automatically earn a spot at this year's finals. Continue voting for your favorites to win the other challenges and help her advance one step closer to the coveted crown and national title.
