Miss World Australia 2023 is Jasmine Stringer

Jasmine Stringer bested over 30 other competitors to be crowned Miss World Australia 2023 in a glittering competition held on Friday, August 18 at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre. The 26-year-old Gold Coast-born primary school teacher will now represent Australia at Miss World 2024. She succeeds last year's winner Kristen Wright who will travel to Mumbai, India for Miss World 2023 later this year. Gabriella Oxley was named first runner-up while Jennifer Sochima, Chloe Hardy, and Jennifer Kim were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. No stranger to pageantry, the new Miss World Australia previously participated in the Miss Universe Australia 2021 pageant where she finished as the second runner-up. Apart from teaching, Jasmine is also an avid equestrian, model, and singer who strives to empower young Australians through education. Miss World Australia 2022 is Kristen Wright

Former national gymnast Kristen Wright was named Miss World Australia 2022 at Palazzo Versace on Queensland's Gold Coast on Friday, April 29. The 23-year-old beauty who hails from Mornington, Victoria is a biomedical student and a scuba diving instructor. She succeeds Miss World Australia 2019 Sarah Marschke and will now prepare to represent her country at Miss World 2022 later this year. This year's national competition was held after a 2-year pause due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
