Wearing a custom white dress by La Rosa Studio PH, the 24-year-old Filipina beauty was honored in a special homecoming parade on Saturday, June 7 at the SM Mall of Asia. Opal Suchata Chuangsri from Thailand beat 107 other contestants to be crowned Miss World 2025 on Saturday, May 31 at the HITEX Exhibition Centre in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. The 22-year-old beauty has made history for her country as she became the first-ever Thai woman to win the prestigious title. She also won the multimedia fast track challenge. Hasset Dereje Admassu from Ethiopia, Maja Klajda from Poland, and Aurélie Joachim from Martinique were announced the first, second, and third, runners-up, respectively. Completing the Top 8 finalists were Jéssica Pedroso from Brazil, Selma Kamanya from Namibia, Krishnah Gravidez from the Philippines and Maria Melnychenko from Ukraine. The talented pianist from North Sumatra beat 23 other finalists to win the fast-track event held at Shilpakala Vedika auditorium in Hyderabad, India. Issie Princesse of Cameroon and Chiara Esposito of Italy placed second and third, respectively. Monica's dazzling piano performance earned her a spot in the Top 10 of her continental group, Asia and Oceania. Spanning over 2,000 acres, the famous location is considered as the world’s largest film studio complex as recognized by the Guinness World Records. Over 100 stunning beauties vying to become the next Miss World were welcomed with a red carpet reception, featuring traditional Indian rituals such as aarti, tikka, and live music. The fast-track event was held on Saturday, May 17 at the iconic Gachibowli Stadium in Hyderabad, India. Eliise has now secured a Top 10 placement in her continental region and in the Top 40 among 108 contestants vying for this year's title.
