The inaugural edition of the Mister Cosmopolitan pageant was held on Sunday, October 8 at The Platform Performing Arts Theatre at Menara KEN TTDI in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Blake Johnston, the representative of the United States of America beat 14 other competitors to clinch the title of Mister Cosmopolitan 2023. He is a model, wrestler, and fitness enthusiast hailing from Colstrip, Montana. Abdul Rahim of Singapore was named first runner-up while Ivan Ignacio of the Philippines, Yothin Romthaisong of Thailand, and Joshua Saunders of Australia were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. The contestants from Italy, Nicolas Maggi, Korea, Lee Ji Hoon, and Vietnam, Nguyen Thien Kha, rounded out the Top 8 semifinalists. Mister Cosmopolitan was organized by Double Event Management and supported by the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia and Cuti-Cuti Malaysia. Mister Pilipinas Worldwide 2023, the inaugural edition of the newest national male pageant in the Philippines, was held last Saturday, May 6 at Cove Manila.
