Luca Derin was officially announced as Mister Supranational Netherlands 2023 on Sunday, April 9 at Addict (beauty salon) in Haarlem, Amsterdam. The 26-year-old former "Love Island" contestant from Sittard, Limburg, succeeded last year's titleholder Fransel Meyers and will now represent the Netherlands at Mister Supranational 2023 in Poland this July. No stranger to pageantry, Luca previously held the title Manhunt Netherlands and went on to compete during the Manhunt International 2018 held in Gold Coast, Australia where he finished as second runner-up. Mister São Paulo, Henrique Martins, was proclaimed Mister Brasil CNB 2023 (Mister Supranational Brasil 2023) on Saturday, April 8 in the city of Tramandaí, Rio Grande do Sul. The 31-year-old publicist and former Olympic swimmer from Campinas, São Paulo bested 40 other contestants to win the national pageant. He succeeded last year's winner and Mister Global 2022 second runner-up Guilherme Werner. The 28-year-old model and former Miss Intercontinental bested 14 other contestants to win the national title. She succeeded last year's winner and Miss Supranational 2022 first runner-up Praewwanich Ruangthong. Panama's representatives for Miss Supranational and Mister Supranational 2023 were officially crowned during the 5th edition of Mister Panama Oficial on Sunday, January 29 in Panama City. Mario Bianco, a professional model who holds a degree in marketing and a postgraduate degree in senior management, won the title Mister Panama Oficial 2022 and was designated as Mister Supranational Panama 2023. New age limits have been announced by the Miss Supranational / Mister Supranational Organization following a survey conducted among national license holders. Women between the ages of 18 and 32 will now be able to participate in Miss Supranational. In addition to the rule, contestants must be female as indicated on official documents, and have never been married or have had children. For Mister Supranational, the age limit has been changed to 20 for the youngest and 34 for the oldest. To participate, aspirants need to be male as indicated on official documents, and have never been married or have children. Effective immediately, the changes will now take effect starting from Miss Supranational 2023 and Mister Supranational 2023 editions. The organization also mentioned that each national franchisee will continue to have the final say in determining the most appropriate requirements for the country they are working in. Kim Hee Won was named Mister International Korea 2022 in a national competition held on Monday, August 29 in Seoul. The 28-year-old model and former football player from Jinju bested 33 other contestants to win the national title.
